Arsenal return to Elland Road with history firmly on their side, having dominated this fixture for more than two decades, but they face a Leeds United team full of confidence under Daniel Farke.

The Gunners have won each of the last seven meetings between the sides and haven’t lost away to Leeds since November 2000, yet recent form suggests this won’t be a straightforward afternoon for the league leaders.

Leeds arrive unbeaten in five home league matches and have lost just once in their last ten Premier League outings overall, while Arsenal are looking to arrest a rare wobble after going three games without a league win.

Both teams to score

Eight of Leeds’ last nine home league games have seen both sides find the net.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have kept few clean sheets during their current three-game winless run in the league, conceding twice against Manchester United last time out.

With Leeds unbeaten in five home games and Arsenal rarely failing to score against this opponent, backing both teams to score at 1/1 looks well supported by the data.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 1/1

Bet explanation: This bet wins if both Leeds and Arsenal score at least one goal each.

Leeds to score

While Arsenal boast an excellent head-to-head record, Leeds’ recent performances suggest they can cause problems. Leeds have scored against Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United at home in recent weeks and will be confident.

Farke’s side have lost just one of their last 10 Premier League matches and were unfortunate not to take more than a point from Everton on Monday night. Arsenal have conceded in each of their last three league fixtures, and with Elland Road providing a strong platform, Leeds scoring twice is not out of the question.

At 18/5, Leeds to score offers attractive value in a game that could be more open than the odds imply.

Tip: Leeds to score @ 18/5

Bet explanation: This bet wins if Leeds score at least one goal against Arsenal.

Bukayo Saka to play 1+ shot on target

Bukayo Saka remains Arsenal’s most reliable attacking outlet and is well placed to test the Leeds defence. He has played at least one shot on target in his last three games, though Arsenal generally struggled in those games.

The winger consistently finds shooting positions in big games and will be central to Arsenal’s attacking plan as they look to bounce back from defeat to Manchester United.

With Arsenal expected to dominate possession and create chances, Saka registering at least one shot on target appears a strong play at 9/25, particularly against a Leeds side that has allowed chances even during their recent unbeaten run.

Tip: Bukayo Saka to play 1+ shot on target @ 9/25

Bet explanation: This bet wins if Bukayo Saka plays one shot on target against Leeds.
