Scooping up the award for the third time, Salah picked up 90 per cent of the votes from 900 FWA members.
The Egyptian is the second player to score a hat-trick at the awards, alongside Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
He is the first Liverpool player to pick up the award since Jordan Henderson in 2019/20 after helping the club win their first title in 30 years.
Salah has been in scintillating form this season, racking up 28 goals and 18 assists to help power Liverpool to their second Premier League title.
The 32-year-old has his sights set on winning a fourth Golden Boot and with 46 goal contributions this term, he is one shy of equalling the record in a Premier League season.
Salah extended his contract at Liverpool in April and is a prime candidate to win the Premier League Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Year awards.
