The 3-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday went exactly according to plan for City.

We backed this line against Brentford at the weekend. It landed with ease, with no real suggestion that it doesn’t stand a great chance against Palace, too.
City have scored three goals against each of Brentford, Everton and Chelsea within their last six games, notching twice against Arsenal and Southampton in that timeframe as well.
They are hungry for goals and aware of the fact that goal difference and even goals scored could yet be vital in determining the Premier League champion.
It’s telling that prior to the two legs of their Conference League semi-final with Shakhtar, Palace lost 1-3 at Liverpool and 0-3 at Bournemouth. Their sole focus is now on their cup final… which leaves them vulnerable against a side like Manchester City that has attacking class and motivation aplenty.

Doubling Up
Manchester City are such clear and obvious favourites for this game that even if our first selection doesn’t land, this one looks great value too – and perhaps we could even double up.
