Man United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens in a €20 million (£17m) deal, raising fresh questions over Andre Onana’s long-term future at Old Trafford.
Onana has failed to win over the Manchester United fans thanks to a string of high-profile errors during his two seasons at the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the club have decided to take action and are in talks with Antwerp over a deal for Lammens, 23.
He adds that negotiations are ongoing, but it’s expected that the two clubs will come to an agreement over a fee of around €20 million (£17m).
Lammens has impressed in his four games for Antwerp so far this season, conceding four goals and saving a penalty in their opening match against Union St. Gilloise.
