Opta predictions: Crystal Palace among favourites for Champions League place

What are the chances of Newcastle qualifying for the Champions League or Sunderland winning the title? Using Opta data, Flashscore has compiled the probability of each team winning the Premier League, qualifying for the Champions League or Europa League, as well as being relegated to the Championship in the 2025/26 season.

Following their dramatic late win over Liverpool, Crystal Palace now have a 41.72% chance of qualifying for the Champions League at the end of the season according to the Opta supercomputer, while Brighton have a 16.14% probability following their dramatic 3-1 win at Chelsea on Saturday.

Liverpool and Arsenal remain favourites to lift the trophy (46.44% and 35.03% respectively), but the odds are increasing on Man City (9.68%) with Palace the next most likely on 3.92%.

In the battle to avoid the drop, Sunderland have a 29.91% chance of finishing in the bottom three despite their outstanding start to the season, with Leeds on 28.89%.

Wolves (62.52%), Burnley (62.19%) and West Ham (44.63%) remain favourites to play in the Championship next season based on current form.
