Gameweek six from the Premier League begins in West London, where Brentford host Manchester United. The Bees hope to heap misery on the Red Devils before fans enjoy four matches in the Saturday 15:00 BST slot. There are then two live games on Saturday evening, another two on Sunday afternoon, and the remainder on Monday.

Having recently enjoyed winners in the UK, Europe and World Cup 2026 qualifiers, Flashscore’s experienced gambling writer Frank Monkhouse aims for more profits. He casts his eye over the round, offering his best bets in the games that matter, highlighting any value, price boosts and promotions worth knowing about. In short, there’s everything you need to enjoy another action-packed weekend.

Brentford vs Man Utd, Saturday, 12:30 BST

The Bees host the Red Devils in London, opening another hectic Saturday of fixtures from the EPL. Brentford are one place above the relegation zone following an unconvincing start. The hosts have won one, drawn one, and lost three, scoring six goals but conceding ten. They’ve taken only one of the previous nine points available, losing 3-1 at Fulham last week.

Man Utd kick off in 11th position. The visitors started the season poorly, losing the opener and drawing in their second appearance. They finally got off the mark on matchday three with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Burnley at Old Trafford. A damaging 3-0 defeat at the Etihad followed, but United beat Chelsea 2-1 last time for a morale-boosting win.

The head-to-head stats available at Flashscore show that a bet on both teams to score is a smart approach. It was a winning pick in each of the two meetings last season, and that run stretches back to cover the last four. In that time, we have a couple of 2-1 wins for United, a 1-1 draw here, and a memorable 4-3 home cheer when last at this stadium.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 3/5 (Betway)

Bet explanation: If Brentford and Man Utd score at least one goal each, your bet wins.

Chelsea vs Brighton, Saturday, 15:00 BST

Chelsea vs Brighton

Chelsea are back at Stamford Bridge, eager to make a timely return to winning ways following a shock loss at Old Trafford last weekend. The Blues lost to the odd goal in three at the Theatre of Dreams, after strikes from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro bettered a Chalobah goal. Both teams ended with 10 men in a bad-tempered showdown.

Brighton travel to the UK capital in the bottom half of the Premier League after winning only one of their first five league starts. The Seagulls didn’t get off the mark until matchday three when they surprised Man City on the South Coast. Since that 2-1 victory, the away team has lost to Bournemouth and drawn with Tottenham. Will they cause another upset?

Goals look almost guaranteed in Saturday’s match at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have scored ten already, but conceded five. Brighton have six for and eight against. The H2H shows both the Blues and Seagulls scored in four of the previous five games involving these teams. You can add BTTS to your weekend accumulators.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 3/5 (Betway)

Bet explanation: The winning team isn’t important here. All you need is for Chelsea and Brighton to find the net at least once each.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, Saturday, 15:00 BST

Another eye-catcher from the Saturday, 3:00pm starts pairs Crystal Palace and Liverpool at Selhurst Park in London. The Eagles beat the Reds on penalties at Wembley in the Community Shield following a thrilling 2-2 draw. Most fans in the home end would see another level finish as a decent result here, maintaining their unbeaten record.

Liverpool, like their hosts, boast an unbeaten record so far this season, with the Reds sitting on top of the division. Arne Slot’s defending champions carry a 100% record and arrive with confidence following a 2-1 win in the Merseyside Derby last weekend. That result at Anfield moved Liverpool five points clear of Arsenal in second place. They’ll take some stopping.

Palace are unbeaten, having drawn three and won two, scoring six goals and conceding two. Liverpool have won all five of their previous matches, scoring 11 and conceding five. We have all the ingredients for a Premier League classic, but I’m siding with the champions. It pays to stick with the pace-setters until they give us a reason not to. Take the away win.

Tip: Liverpool win @ 19/20 (Betway)

Bet explanation: You want Liverpool to win this match by any scoreline.

Man City vs Burnley, Saturday, 15:00 BST

Man City vs Burnley

All eyes are on the Etihad Stadium as Man City aims to go three games unbeaten, following back-to-back defeats with a 3-0 win over Man Utd at this venue and a 1-1 draw away to Arsenal last time. City also boast an impressive 2-0 home win over Napoli in the opening weekend of the Champions League. Another three points would nudge them up the table.

Scott Parker finds himself in a world of trouble after watching his Burnley side win only one of their opening five games. Promoted as Championship runners-up behind Leeds United last season, the Clarets start in 16th following one win, a draw and three defeats. They’ve taken one of the previous nine points available, and it’ll get worse here.

Anything can happen in this division, as Premier League bettors know only too well. However, the form suggests that Man City are improving, while Burnley continue to struggle. A bet on Man City -1 goal on the handicap would’ve earned you a profit in each of their last ten games. That’s a solid start, and I’m more than happy to follow it on Saturday afternoon.

Tip: Man City -1 handicap @ 1/2 (Betway)

Bet explanation: Man City must beat Burnley by two or more clear goals to win your bet.

Tottenham vs Wolves, Saturday, 20:00 BST

Tottenham vs Wolves
Tottenham vs WolvesAFP

The highlight of Saturday’s schedule from the English Premier League covers Tottenham Hotspur's home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. New boss Thomas Frank has fans excited, and with good reason. The Londoners started the weekend in third place, thanks to three wins, a draw and one defeat. They’ve scored ten and conceded three.

Wolves are much lower in the pecking order than their hosts, stuck hard to the bottom of the pile. It has been a nightmare start for Wolves, losing each of their first five games of the season. They’ve scored only three and already conceded a dozen, including three at home to Leeds United last time. The recently promoted side had no problems at Molineaux.

Here, we have a team with momentum and confidence in their work, taking on an opponent that is at the bottom of the division. Wolves are leaking goals fast and have shown little to suggest they’ll end that miserable losing streak anytime soon. If Tottenham can score early, they’ll make light work of a battered and bruised opponent before a huge audience.

Tip: Tottenham -1 handicap @ 6/5 (Betway)

Bet explanation: If Spurs beat Wolves by two or more goals, you’ll boost your betting balance with a winner at a nice price.

Newcastle vs Arsenal, Sunday, 16:30 BST

Newcastle vs Arsenal
Newcastle vs ArsenalAFP

Sunday’s Premier League programme brings games from Birmingham and Tyne and Wear, but there can be no denying the main attraction. Newcastle United welcome Arsenal to St James’ Park for a 16:30 kick-off, which you can follow on TV and live streaming apps. The hosts are 13th, thanks to one win, three draws, and a defeat, scoring and conceding three goals.

Arsenal quickly settled back into second place behind defending champions Liverpool, and already trail the pace-setters by five points. Mikel Arteta’s team must continue to win, rack up points, and be ready to punish any rare slips by the only team above them in the ladder. The Gunners have won three of their last five matches, but drew 1-1 with Man City in London last time.

Two ambitious teams with squads good enough to win this match and add a valuable three points to their early-season tally. But Newcastle have scored only three goals in five games, while their opponents have fired double figures in the same period. Arsenal also have a stronger defence, and that’ll give them the edge over an opponent still finding their feet.

Tip: Arsenal win @ 21/20 (Betway)

Bet explanation: All you need here is an Arsenal win. The final scoreline and scorers aren’t as important as the result.
