Everton vs Chelsea, Saturday (12:30 BST)

No Premier League side has conceded more goals than Chelsea have so far this term; an eye-watering 13 in six outings, to be exact.

But the Blues are such a dangerous force in front of goal themselves – the Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro trio helping Chelsea to 15 goals thus far. That's the third-best tally in the EPL, and just one behind current league leaders Manchester City.

Everton are one of just three teams in the Premier League that remain unbeaten. They are solid defensively, but somewhat vulnerable against teams with a clear attacking plan – both Manchester United and Hull have scored twice against them recently.

Mind you, the Toffees create plenty of chances. And while they’re not the most prolific in front of goal, Chelsea’s charitable defending should afford Everton more opportunities to find the net on home soil.

Tip: Both Teams to Score @ 4/7 (Bet365)

Explanation: Our bet lands if both Everton and Chelsea score.

Brentford vs Liverpool, Saturday (15:00 BST)

They may not be the most fashionable of clubs, but write Brentford off at your peril.

The Bees were unbeaten in both their games against Liverpool last season (W1 D1), and they haven’t been defeated in their last eight Premier League outings – six of those coming this term.

Intriguingly, Andoni Iraola’s ‘worst opponent’ is Brentford. As Bournemouth boss, he picked up just two points in six games against them – he’s yet to crack the code.

Factor in Liverpool’s Champions League outing on Wednesday – while Brentford have had the full week to prepare – and it feels as though backing the Bees is the smart play.

Tip: Brentford/Draw Double Chance @ 1/2 (Bet365)

Explanation: Our bet wins if Brentford win or draw. If they lose, so does our bet.

Manchester City vs Ipswich, Saturday (15:00 BST)

After riding out the storm early on against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, Manchester City’s class told in a 3-0 triumph.

It’s telling that they’re able to bring players of the level of Jeremy Doku off the bench. His late cameo, which included a goal and assist, was precious to their victory.

Ipswich have done little wrong so far this term, and currently sit tenth in the league thanks to victories against Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Fulham in an opening six matches which has also seen them face Liverpool and Manchester United.

But City’s extraordinary record against promoted teams – W28 D3 L0 – helps to focus the mind of punters.

Off-field matters (they're contesting the guilty verdicts on 114 financial misplay charges) have galvanised Man City on it… so expect them to show their class on Saturday.

Tip: Manchester City -1 Handicap @ 4/6 (Bet365)

Explanation: Our bet lands if Man City win this game by two goals or more.

Brighton vs Crystal Palace, Sunday (14:00 BST)

It’s impossible not to be impressed by Brighton, whose 3-0 demolition of champions Arsenal headlines their fantastic start to the campaign.

The Seagulls are notoriously fast starters: they have claimed 13+ points in their opening six games for the fourth time in six seasons. Only Arsenal and Manchester City can match that record.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have faced more shots than any other Premier League team this season, and they’ve failed to score in four of their last six away outings in the EPL.

All the signs point towards a positive Brighton result on Sunday.

Tip: Brighton to Win @ 8/15 (Bet365)

Explanation: Our bet lands if Brighton win this game.

Leeds vs Manchester United, Sunday (14:00 BST)

Elland Road will be rocking on Sunday – the last thing Manchester United, low on confidence, need.

Leeds had the luxury of a full week to prepare for this game, while the Red Devils had another bad day at the office in midweek – losing 0-2 to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

The Yorkshiremen are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League home games (W4 D3) too, while Man Utd have claimed just six points in as many outings this term.

Tip: Leeds/Draw Double Chance @ 1/2 (Bet365)

Explanation: Our bet lands if Leeds win or the game is drawn.
