Andoni Iraola has made one change to the starting XI that faced Nottingham Forest, with Ronald Araujo coming in today for Jeremie Frimpong.

Gary O'Neil has also made one change to the starting XI that faced Manchester United, as Exequiel Palacios comes in today for Marcelino Nunez.

18:45 BST - The previous Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Ipswich saw the Reds come out on top 4-1 at Anfield in January 2025. 

Cody Gakpo scored twice with goals in the 44th and 66th minutes. Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah were also on the scoresheet. Jacob Greaves scored the only goal for the Tractor Boys in the 90th minute.

18:40 BST - The Premier League has smashed its summer spending record for a second successive season, with outlay ⁠by England's top-flight clubs reaching around £3.46 billion.

The spending spree continued right up to the final hours of the transfer window on Tuesday, ‌with several more big-money deals completed before the 23:00 BST deadline.

18:30 BST - Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is close to returning to training, but remains an absentee for the Reds' trip to newly promoted Ipswich.

Meanwhile, Leeds have been dealt a major blow as defender Joe Rodon is set for up to 10 weeks out with a serious hamstring injury.
