20:24 GMT - That'll do it for us tonight. Join us again tomorrow!

20:22 GMT - Match-winner Amine Adli said "we play football for moments like this".

The Bournemouth striker told BBC MOTD: "To see all the happiness in everybody, the members of staff, all the people who are working for the club and the fans, it's for moments like this we play football.

"It's a crazy moment. Obviously, it's the first time it's happened to me. The emotions are amazing, but overall, it shows the character of the team.

"I think we played a very good game against a very tough opponent, and this goal is showing all the work rate of the whole team, and hopefully I score this one, for sure I'm even more happy. I'm just happy for the team."

20:03 GMT - Speaking after his side's 3-2 defeat at Bournemouth, Liverpool manager Arne Slot told BBC Sport: "It is a cruel game if you lose in extra time after coming back from 2-0 down at half-time.

"I think it was only 5-10 minutes in the first half where we didn't have total control. We played through them nicely a few times, but we conceded twice, and we went down to 10 men, so that doesn't help.

"It felt to me that if we were able to make up the 2-1, we would have been back in the game. We were, a lot of the time, in promising positions, but we were 2-0 down, and it did feel to me that we were going to score and get back in the game.

"It is fair to say that in the last 10-minutes it was more open, but I could see that my players were tired because we only had two days in between each game."

19:27 GMT - FULL-TIME:

Bournemouth 3-2 Liverpool. An awful result for the Reds, but a fantastic one for the Cherries, who snap the champions' 13-match unbeaten streak on a memorable night. Read our report here.
