The Premier League returned during the week with several players putting in impressive performances following the final international break of the season.
One performance that particularly stood out was Marco Asensio's cameo in Aston Villa's 3-0 win away at Brighton - with the Spaniard bagging a goal and an assist despite spending just 26 minutes on the pitch.
Asensio's contribution earned him an 8.4 Flashscore rating, the highest of any performer over the week, which makes him our Premier League Player of the Week.
Villa have reaped the rewards of some very smart business in the January transfer window and the on-loan midfielder has been at the centre of that with nine goal contributions in all competitions.
