The former SC Freiburg midfielder has been gradually introduced to Premier League football by manager David Moyes - an approach he accepts.
“Very special,” he told evertontv. “From the first minute, I’ve loved the fans here, the atmosphere here, the style of play. I love how they support us, and we need to give something sometimes to get the atmosphere going.
“I really love that. I'm so grateful for every minute in front of the fans in this stadium and in this league. That was my dream for some time. I'm pretty grateful the manager gave me some trust.
"The fourth appearance (against Fulham), I had some good minutes," Rohl added.
“In every situation, you need to adapt. But I think this league fits me very well. Every person talked about it – that it's very fast and I'm a fast player, so maybe I can fit in.
“And that's what I feel when I'm on the pitch. I like to run, I like to go deep and to work behind.”
