Rosenior has won eight of 11 matches in charge of the Blues so far after taking over from Enzo Maresca. However, he will be hoping for a better result this week after drawing to Leeds United in the Premier League last time out.
Burnley sit second from bottom in the table and enter the clash on the back of an FA Cup upset against Mansfield Town.
Racism is rampant
Speaking first on racism aimed at Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior by a Benfica player in the Champions League, Rosenior says the situation is upsetting in what is a problem that stretches into wider society.
"It's upsetting. Always, there needs to be context to it. What I will say, you can see any form of racism in society, not just football, is unacceptable. I cannot speak about an incident where an investigation is ongoing. What I would say is when you see a player upset how Vinicius Jr was upset, normally they're upset for a reason."
On racism in society: "There's a lot of division. There's a lot of people in the media who make prejudgements on people or how they behave or who they are based on their sexual orientation, what country they come from, what religion they are, what colour of skin they have.
"I think it's a wider debate than just football. I think people should be held a lot more accountable than they are at the moment, in terms of social media, in terms of the press, to make sure that these things are stamped out because everybody should be judged equally based on the content of their character."
Rosenior backs Delap
Questions next turned to striker Liam Delap who has scored just twice in 23 appearances, with his last goal coming in a 2-1 defeat at Fulham in early January. Rosenior backed the 23-year-old who he says provides more than goals.
"That's the first thing I look for in my strikers; people contributing to us winning games of football. All strikers want to score goals, that's why they play the game, but Liam defends from the front amazingly well, so does Joao.
"If you look at most players and their careers, it's usually the second season they take off. He's had some injuries. I'm really happy with Joao and Liam. Marc Guiu has been very good and that needs to continue for us to be successful."
Terry and James keep in touch
Moving on from Delap, Rosenior touched upon his compatriot Reece James, who he admits has been in talks with club icon John Terry consistently this season.
"100% (it's great that Terry and James are speaking). John is a legend of the club. With the experience he has got, it's an amazing thing for Reece to tap into. You can learn from anyone, but learning from people that have been there and done it, it's the best way."
