Manchester United kept their unbeaten start going under Michael Carrick by beating Everton 1-0, Liverpool snatched a late 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest and 10-man Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley.

Metronomic Rodri helped City tick along en route to claiming a resilient and important win over Newcastle.

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City) - 8.0
O'Reilly has thrived since being deployed in a more familiar midfield role and he shone with two well-taken goals.

Haunting rivals Tottenham once again, Eze followed up his hat-trick earlier in the season with another two goals in the reverse derby fixture.

The Swede lashed his first goal brilliantly from the edge of the box and bullied his way towards his second to cap off a fine display.
Omar Marmoush (Manchester City) - 8.0
Egypt forward Marmoush looked like a livewire in a dynamic attacking line for City against Newcastle.
