Footballing icon Thierry Henry has joined Betway as their new global ambassador.

The Frenchman had a stellar footballing career that saw him play in France, Italy, Spain, America and England, reaching the pinnacle of the club and international game.
Henry started his professional career at Monaco before leaving to pastures new in Italy with Juventus. After a short time playing for the Bianconerri, Henry made a name for himself under Arsene Wenger's tutelage at Arsenal.
After becoming the Gunners' top goalscorer ever, winning two FA Cups and Premier Leagues - one of which includes the Invincibles season - Henry left for Barcelona. There he won the lauded treble of LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, cementing his status as one of the all-time greats.
Henry would finish his career playing in the USA for New York Red Bulls in 2012, playing almost 800 games and scoring 360 goals over his 18-year career.
For France, Henry was part of the team that won the 1998 World Cup and 2000 Euros, playing 123 times for Les Bleus, and in his retirement has become a well-regarded pundit whilst trying out life as a manager, too.
