Frank has overseen a miserable five-game winless run heading into the tie with his old side, who sit joint on points with them in the table.
Tottenham have the second-worst in the league behind bottom-of-the-league Wolves as fans grow more frustrated.
Frank faces his old side
Spurs could now suffer an 11th Premier League loss on their own turf in 2025 as Frank desperately tries to turn the club around against his former club, who he says are always special to go up against.
"Of course, it's a little more special for me because I face Brentford, where I was for nine years.
"Almost a quarter of my life there. I had a fantastic time there, I enjoyed every second of it. A lot of people I'll see on Saturday who I haven't seen for a long time, I used to see them every day more or less so that will be special.
"It's been preparation against a team of players I know very well, small tweaks to what I used to do, a lot of their identity is the same which makes it difficult in many ways.
"When the whistle goes, it's all about getting the three points."
When asked if he would celebrate against his old side, Frank smiled and answered honestly that he would even if he has a lot of respect for everyone at the club.
"Yeah, I will. Everyone knows the respect I have for Brentford, the fans, everyone before kick-off, after the final whistle.
"In the 90 minutes, it's all about one thing: do what we can to win the game."
Tottenham's dire form
Brentford have now suffered six defeats from seven top-flight away games this season and go into Saturday's London derby only behind Spurs on goal difference. Frank was asked about Tottenham's poor form and said that facing Brentford feels like the perfect time to pick up 3 points and start forging their path back to the European spots.
"It's nice timing to get the three points on Saturday. The one way to win is to put in the good performance in there. Work on the things we're constantly working on, phase two, phase three, making it quicker. Be sharper, quicker and more penetration when we need to have that.
"Play with intensity, brave, and we're looking forward to it."
Frank has nothing bus respect for Andrews
Finally, Frank confirmed "everyone from the Newcastle game should be ready" before he moved on to Brentford boss Keith Andrews, who has had mixed results since taking from Frank. Brentford are now without a clean sheet in six straight Premier League matches, and Frank commended Andrews for taking on such a tough role.
"First and foremost, big credit to Brentford to be brave enough to promote within but also have built something over time.
"I was there nine years and seven years as head coach, it's not just about me it's about what we together built there in consistency, stability and a high performance level. That culture, knowing who we are, what we want to be, was easier to continue with appointing Keith.
"He has done a remarkable job, it's never easy stepping up into your first head coach role. They lost crucial players in the summer and he's continued the Brentford identity, so big praise. What I saw in Keith: very good man, good values, good coach and had leadership potential."
