Saturday will keep football bettors and armchair fans busy, with kick-off times staggered between 12:30 and 20:00 GMT.
The most intriguing games will be broadcast live on television, including a tantalising showdown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs host Liverpool, with both teams in desperate need of a morale-boosting win and three points.
The locals have blown hot and cold this season, spending weeks pushing for the prize places before dropping off the pace.
Can they challenge for a top-four finish and a return to Champions League football next term? It’s possible, but there’s a lot of work to do. Liverpool have also suffered with inconsistency, but winning in London would help silence the critics.
The leading online bookmakers offer over 100 pre-match and live betting markets on Tottenham vs Liverpool. You can predict the winner or play one of the many specials.
There are both teams to score, totals, handicap, first scorer, to win both halves, and more. Flashscore’s popular football betting writer Frank Monkhouse presents his data-led picks.

Side with Spurs
The first of our three Tottenham v Liverpool predictions sees us taking sides, picking Tottenham to come out on top.
Checking the recent form of both Spurs and the Reds shows neither side fill backers with confidence, with both clubs guilty of lacking consistency. To help guard against an upset, we take advantage of the double chance market available at bet365.
When playing the double chance, you’re betting on two of the three possible outcomes in the match-winner market: a home win and the draw. If Spurs win, so does your bet.
If the match ends level, you’ll also secure a return. A 3-0 home win pays the same as a 0-0 draw. Anything but victory for an under-pressure Liverpool will boost your online betting balance.
Tottenham aren’t exactly world beaters this season, but they’ve already secured some impressive results at this venue.
The locals won 1-0 when Liverpool were last in town, achieved thanks to a goal from Bergvall back in January of this year. The winner came in the dying seconds of a League Cup match. Another competitive 90 minutes is expected.
Tip: Tottenham win or draw @ 4/5 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Tottenham avoid defeat at home to Liverpool, your bet wins.
Back three or more goals
For the second of our Tottenham vs Liverpool predictions at Flashscore, we lean on the stats. Regular readers of my previews know I often place my trust in the stats and trends available on the Flashscore app, especially the head-to-head.
You’d be surprised just how often the numbers throw up a strong bet. The Spurs vs Liverpool H2H is interesting.
These teams met four times last season, home and away in both the Premier League and EFL Cup. In that run, Liverpool captured three victories, with Tottenham winning only once.
Much has changed at both clubs since, with the Reds far weaker than they were 12 months ago. The trend that stood out in those four games was the number of goals scored in each.
Liverpool took all three points with a stunning 6-3 win in London. The rivals returned to this venue and the roles were reversed, with Spurs snatching that 1-0 win mentioned earlier in this article.
The Reds fired back to win 4-0 in the second leg at Anfield, where they landed a 5-1 win in the EPL a few weeks later. Back over 2.5 goals and hope for another goal-fest.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 8/13 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If this match produces three or more goals from both teams combined, you’ll secure a handy return.
Add BTTS to your bets
Our third and final prediction is for both teams to score. It’s another betting market you’ll find readily available at each of the betting apps featured at Flashscore, including bet365.
Again, the match-winner isn’t important as you’re risking your stake on goals. Another 5-1 win for Liverpool is just as sweet as a 2-1 win for Tottenham or a 1-1 draw.
A bet on both teams to score landed you a winner in half of the four meetings last term. Going back further, adding BTTS to your bet slip proved profitable in 10 of the previous 12, a run stretching back to December 2020.
That trend is just too good to ignore. With nerves and a busy schedule playing a part, goals look likely, and I have high hopes for this bet.
Switching to the recent form of both clubs adds more confidence. Looking at Tottenham’s past performances at home, we remember they lost 2-1 to Fulham and drew 2-2 with Manchester United last month.
Liverpool’s away form shows they drew 3-3 at Elland Road and 3-2 at Brentford. Add both teams to score to your weekend EPL accumulators.
Tip: Both teams to score @ 8/15 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You want to see both Spurs and Liverpool score at least one goal each.
