Former Liverpool and now Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers could make his return to the Premier League next season.

Rodgers has won four Scottish Premiership titles across his two stints at Celtic Park and has always maintained that he will see out his contract at the very least as he continues to find success in Scotland.

However, as the international break comes to a close, reports have linked Rodgers with a move back to the Premier League where he could replace Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner who has been linked to the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester United

TalkSPORT's chief football correspondent, Alex Crook, has spoken on the potential move and how Rodgers may depart once his contract is up.

"Brendan Rodgers is out of contract at the end of the season.

"And as I've been making enquiries about what might happen at Ibrox, I have just been hearing a lot of whispers that maybe Brendan Rodgers could decide at the end of the season not to renew his deal, and that the time is right to leave Celtic for a second time.

"If he does, I think he'd be on a lot of lists in the Premier League."

Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and Fulham could all be in the market for a new manager once the season is up and a return to England could be desired by Rodgers who has proven himself north of the border.
