Winner: Raphinha

The Brazilian winger was the standout player in FC Barcelona's emphatic win over FC Sevilla. With a flawless hat-trick, Raphinha showcased his current top form and proved himself indispensable under Barcelona’s tactical setup.

The Spanish press hailed him as the 'Magician of Camp Nou,' praising not only his goals but also his relentless defensive work and vision on the pitch.

His third goal, a deflected shot after a clever turn, further cemented Barcelona’s ambitions at the top of the table. For the Blaugrana, the 5-2 win was also a bit of payback: Sevilla beat Barca 4-1 in the first half of the season.

Loser: Tiberiu Capusa

It was a nightmare moment: Just 90 seconds into the Romanian league match against UTA Arad, FC Hermannstadt fell behind thanks to one of the most bizarre own goals of the season.

After a failed clearance by captain Ionut Stoica, the ball was blasted into Tiberiu Capusa’s face, rebounding unstoppably into his own net. Capusa lay dazed on the ground as disaster unfolded.

Hermannstadt’s luck didn’t improve, as just four minutes later, they conceded again to make it 2-0. Mentally, the game was over for Hermannstadt after just six minutes, and the team never recovered from the early double blow. In the end, the score was 3-2 to the men from Transylvania.

Winner: Max Dowman

A historic moment in English football: With his goal to make it 2-0 for Arsenal against Everton, Max Dowman became not only the youngest scorer in the club’s history, but at 16 years and 73 days, the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history.

In a scene straight out of a movie, Arsenal cleared a corner in stoppage time, with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford upfield.

Dowman then sprinted solo for what coach Mikel Arteta described as 'about 45 seconds,' finishing the counterattack and sealing the win - a moment that felt like an early title celebration for the North Londoners.

Loser: Abdel Abqar

Abdel Abqar of Getafe provided the weekend’s low point in LaLiga. After a VAR review, he was sent off for grabbing his opponent, Atletico striker Alexander Sorloth, in the groin area. This unsportsmanlike act left players on the pitch stunned and sparked outrage on social media.

Overall, it was a bad day for Getafe: thanks to a stunning goal from Nahuel Molina, they lost 1-0 at the Metropolitano.

Winner: John Anthony Brooks

After nearly two years away, John Brooks made an emotional return in the Hertha Berlin shirt. The American was subbed on late in the second division match against VfL Bochum and received a huge ovation from the fans at the Olympiastadion.

Even the "Wall of Brooks" couldn’t prevent the capital club from conceding an equaliser in stoppage time, leaving them stuck in the middle of the 2. Bundesliga table.

Losers: Chelsea (& referee Paul Tierney)

The 'Chelsea huddle' is making headlines: For several weeks, the Blues have been gathering in the centre circle before kickoff. Referee Paul Tierney wasn’t having it, so he stood right in the middle, creating some unusual images.

On the pitch, Tierney didn’t seem to be inspired by Chelsea’s motivational words: Coach Liam Rosenior later criticised the referee’s performance in the 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge against Newcastle United.

Winner: Arda Guler

Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler produced a Puskas Award contender: In Real Madrid's home game against FC Elche, the 21-year-old picked up the ball in his own half and fired from an incredible 68 meters out.

Matias Dituro, Elche’s keeper, raised his arms while backpedalling but was caught too far off his line and couldn’t stop the goal. It was the icing on the cake of Real Madrid’s 4-1 home win, keeping the gap to FC Barcelona from widening.

Losers: PSV Eindhoven

Everything in Eindhoven was set for a championship celebration. A win against NEC Nijmegen and a simultaneous defeat for Feyenoord would have sealed the title.

But things turned out very differently: NEC dominated the match at the Philips Stadion and celebrated their first-ever win in Eindhoven. PSV’s players looked nervous and couldn’t find a way past the well-organised visitors, meaning the title party will have to wait at least another week.

Winners: Hammarby IF

In the prestigious Stockholm derby of the Svenska Cupen, Hammarby delivered one of the weekend’s highlights. In the 91st minute, they scored the decisive goal against arch-rivals Djurgarden, knocking them out of the cup and crushing their hopes of European football next season.

Losers: Leicester City

The downward spiral of the 2016 surprise champions continues, now reaching dramatic proportions. Despite taking an early lead, they lost at home 3-1 to Queens Park Rangers, who had lost their previous four matches.

The defeat deepens the crisis, and Leicester now faces the spectre of another relegation - this time to League One.

Winners: Go Ahead Eagles

The Go Ahead Eagles claimed a crucial win in their Eredivisie relegation battle. With a resounding 6-0 victory over direct rivals NAC Breda, they almost secured their safety.

Standout performances came from Jakob Breum, who scored a hat-trick, and Victor Edvardsen, who shone as a brilliant playmaker with three assists.

With 32 points now on the board, survival is within reach. After disastrous performances in the Europa League and a season spent fighting relegation as reigning cup winners, this dominant display was exactly what the club needed.
