The most competitive Scottish Premiership in recent history continues with five games on Wednesday evening. Rangers host Kilmarnock at Ibrox as Danny Rohl's team aim to close the gap on leaders Hearts. On this page, we focus on the main attraction as Aberdeen welcome defending champions Celtic to the Granite City for a 20:00 GMT kick-off.
The Dons and Bhoys have served up some memorable meetings over the years, especially at Pittodrie. The rivals have already shared six goals in two games this term, including a strong away win for the side now led by Martin O'Neill. Can Aberdeen use home advantage to claim their revenge, or will Celtic take all three points back to Glasgow at full-time?

Both teams to score - yes
Aberdeen and Celtic have met twice already this season, with the aggregate score currently sitting at Aberdeen 1-5 Celtic. The Bhoys scored two of those goals at this venue back in August when beating the Dons to nil. The Glaswegians then breezed to a 3-1 victory in Glasgow just before Christmas. With six points from six, Celtic are worthy favourites.
Digging deeper into the head-to-head stats available on the Flashscore app, we made an interesting discovery. Both teams found the net at least once in four of the previous five meetings, a run stretching back 12 months. Celtic are unbeaten in that time, winning four games with the spare ending in a 1-1 draw in the final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden.
Switching to the recent form of both clubs, we see Aberdeen beat lowly Livingston 6-2 in their last home match. That match gave us five goals in the first half and two red cards in the second. Celtic's last road trip ended in a fascinating 2-2 draw with Premiership leaders Hearts in the capital, with the Jambos scoring late to rescue a share of the spoils.
Tip: Both teams to score @ 4/6 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Your bet wins if Aberdeen and Celtic score at least one goal each in this match.
Team goals - Celtic over 1.5
Moving to our second bet of the night, and we're backing Celtic to score two or more goals. You'll find this one in the total team goals market on the bet365 app, clicking on over 1.5 goals. The final score and result of the match aren't important here. All you're focused on is the visitors getting more than one goal. It's a wager that'll keep you involved until the end.
We take confidence from the champion's recent form. They've scored in every game they've played so far this year, including at home to Falkirk on Sunday afternoon at Parkhead. The Hoops also put four past Utrecht, two in that draw with Hearts, and another couple in a draw with Bologna. Celtic were also amongst the goals when hammering Dundee Utd last month.
Aberdeen's defence adds weight to our claims. The team from the Granite City leaked three against Kilmarnock at the weekend, and another two in that high-scoring win over the Livi Lions. The hosts gave up four goals in back-to-back meetings with Rangers, after losing 1-0 at Falkirk. The form and stats suggest Celtic will get plenty of chances on Wednesday.
Tip: Celtic over 1.5 goals @ 1/2 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Celtic score two or more goals past Aberdeen at Pittodrie, you'll secure a handsome profit.

Nygren to score anytime
Our third and final bet on Aberdeen vs Celtic under the bright lights is for Benjamin Nygren in the anytime scorer market. You can push your luck and aim for a higher price by backing him to score first, but we're happy with the value here. Nygren adding to his already impressive tally with a glorious goal inside 60 seconds pays the same as a stoppage-time tap-in.
Returning to the Aberdeen vs Celtic head-to-head stats, we see Nygren scored just before the break to give his team a lead last time. He was also the first name on the scoresheet when Celtic battled to a 2-0 win here in August. Nygren is a man in fantastic form and has been one of the few positives in an otherwise difficult season for the green and white hoops.
In recent weeks, the Swedish attacker found the net against Utrecht, Hearts, Falkirk, and Dundee United. He is one of the visitors' most influential and consistent players, especially in their attacking play. He got his first goal of the season against the Dons on matchday two. We're sticking with Nygren after watching him score in each of his previous three starts.
Tip: Nygren to score @ 6/5 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Bet365 will boost your balance if Celtic attacker Nygren finds the net at any stage of the play on Wednesday evening.
