Brazilian former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has officially signed for newly-promoted Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

The 31-year-old has signed a deal valid until 2026 with the Jeddah-based outfit, after seeing out his contract at Anfield.

Firmino is the second major reinforcement for Al-Ahli, who had already announced the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Beginning his career with CRB and Figueirense, the Brazilian has spent the majority of his best years in Europe, where he represented Hoffenheim and Liverpool.

At Anfield he distinguished himself as one of the most intelligent forwards in European football; scoring 111 goals in 362 games and winning every trophy possible.
