Crystal Palace have reported rejected a £30 million bid from Serie A side Atalanta for in-form striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.
According to the BBC, the South London club wasted no time in rejecting Atalanta’s offer for the 28-year-old.
Mateta still has two years remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park, and it remains to be seen whether Palace would consider a higher offer for Mateta.
The report adds that Fulham's Rodrigo Muniz is also believed to be on the Italian side’s list, along with Lecce's Nikola Krstovic and Genk's Tolu Arokodare.
Atalanta are desperate to sign a new forward following the £56m sale of last season’s Serie A top goal scorer Mateo Retegui to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah.
