Dele Alli’s time at Como has come to an abrupt end after the club terminated his contract, marking another setback in the former England international’s career.
The 29-year-old joined Cesc Fabregas’ side in January but only managed to make a single appearance during his time at the club.
Dele came on for the final eight minutes in Como’s 2-1 Serie A defeat to AC Milan back in March, and the club have now confirmed his contract has been terminated, according to Di Marzio.
The Athletic reported that the former England international wants to continue playing football despite a string of problems.
He will now become a free agent, able to sign for any club outside of the now closed summer transfer window.
