With many leagues having double headers due to several midweek fixtures, let's take a look at the Flashscore winners and losers in the top divisions around the world.

Winner - Oliver Edvardsen

Norwegian striker Oliver Edvardsen of Go Ahead Eagles stole the show in the Eredivisie. In his side's match against NEC Nijmegen, he scored a hat-trick in just 20 minutes to help seal victory.

The Nordic striker opened the scoring in the fifth minute, made it 2-0 just a minute later and completed his hat-trick in the 25th minute. He has now scored seven league goals in just 10 games this season as Go Ahead Eagles thrashed their opponents 5-0.

Loser - Marko Kvasina

The Austrian striker for Slovacko in the Czech Republic was unfortunate to see two goals disallowed by the VAR in the space of just 21 minutes.

His side were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Pardubice and missed out on two more points that would have put them in the Championship Round places.

The first goal was disallowed in the 72nd minute, by a mere 49 centimetres. The second, in the dying seconds, was in the 93rd minute, by just 25 centimetres.

Winner - Brentford

Brentford showed their strength at the Gtech Community Stadium with an all-important 4-2 win over Newcastle. Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Nathan Collins and Kevin Schade scored the goals for Thomas Frank's side. For the Magpies, Alexander Isak and Harvey Barnes scored.

The Bees are unbeatable at home. They have won seven and drawn one of their eight home games to date. Moreover, with 31 goals, they are the second-highest-scoring team in the Premier League, behind only Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Mbeumo has scored the most home goals this season, with eight of his nine goals have come at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Loser- Tomáš Čvančara

Borussia Mönchengladbach's Czech striker definitely didn't have his day last Saturday when his side took on Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Čvančara's involvement in the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, was short-lived. He came on in the 89th minute, replacing Tim Kliendienst. In the 94th minute he was yellow-carded for a reckless tackle and in the 95th minute, he was sent off after the referee had shown him a second yellow card for unsporting behaviour. His time at Borussia Park lasted exactly six minutes.

Winner - Atalanta

La Dea defeated Milan 2-1 last Friday. De Ketelaere opened the scoring for the Bergamo side, Morata equalised for the Rossoneri, but in the 87th minute, Ademola Lookman secured all three points at the Gewiss Stadium. Atalanta are now unbeaten in 14 consecutive Serie A and Champions League matches and have won their last nine games.

As if that wasn't enough, Napoli's 1-0 defeat at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday against Lazio put them top of Serie A with 34 points. They are also unbeaten in Europe, where they are fifth with three draws and two wins. This Tuesday they host Real Madrid in Bergamo.

Loser - Marc Cucurella

The Chelsea left-back was unwittingly involved in Tottenham's first two goals in the London derby. The Spaniard slipped on both occasions and saw the game go down to the wire for the Blues.

Cucurella changed his boots and played a part in his team's first goal, assisting Jadon Sancho. Despite his two errors at the start of the game, Cucurella had a happy ending as his side won 4-3 and settled into second place in the Premier League.

Winner - The Esposito brothers

A great weekend for the Esposito family, the three brothers, all from Castellammare di Stabia, scored on Sunday.

In Serie A, Sebastiano scored a brace for Empoli in the Tuscans' 4-1 win over Hellas Verona. In Serie B, Salvatore and Francesco Pio were involved in Spezia's 5-0 thrashing of Cittadella.

Francesco Esposito opened the scoring and Salvatore contributed a brace to make it 3-0 (penalty) and 4-0. All three brothers' goals came in the space of 30 minutes.

All of them had already scored on the same matchday in September, but not on the same day. On Friday 22nd, Sebastiano scored in Cagliari-Empoli (0-2) and Francesco Pio (double) and Salvatore (penalty) were on target in Spezia's 4-2 win over Carrarese.

Winner and Loser - Samu Aghehowa

Samu's season at Porto has been extraordinary. He has already earned his first full international cap for Spain and has 10 goals in 10 games in the Portuguese league. These figures are only surpassed by a "monster" like Viktor Gyokeres, who has 17 goals.

Samu was on target both last Monday against Casa Pia and on Saturday against Famalicao. However, in the first of the two matches, in a somewhat bizarre action, he ended up with a completely torn Porto shirt. So, there must have been something wrong with him for tearing his blue and white jersey, we put him in both sections at the same time.

Winner - Atlético Madrid

Diego Simeone's side played a great game on Sunday at the Metropolitano against Sevilla. Despite taking an early lead through Rodrigo De Paul, Sevilla turned the game around to take a 1-3 lead in the 57th minute thanks to goals from Lukébakio, Isaac Romero and Juanlu. But the 'rojiblancos' did not give up, and with a goal from Griezmann, another from Lino and the final goal from Antoine again in the 94th minute, they made an epic comeback.

Atleti are third in La Liga with 35 points, three behind leaders Barça with a game in hand, and face the Culés in two weeks at Montjuïc. The colchoneros have won their last nine matches between the league, cup and Champions League.

Loser - Valladolid

These are not good times for Ronaldo Nazario's Valladolid. Last week, Paulo Pezzolano was sacked. Álvaro Rubio took over as interim manager. And while in the Copa del Rey, he managed a 4-2 extra-time win over Avila in the Segunda RFEF (three levels below), in La Liga he has been back to his old ways.

The 2-1 defeat to Las Palmas leaves the Pucallanos bottom of the table on nine points, four points off safety with a game in hand. Valladolid have scored the second-fewest goals and conceded the most. In La Liga, they have five defeats and a draw in their last six games.
