Winner: Milan
A derby is always special, particularly when it’s between the two teams at the top of the table. Estupinan, brought back by Massimiliano Allegri, scored the goal that not only gave Milan victory over their eternal rivals but also kept the title race alive.
Seven points is a big gap, true, but a win like this - full of drama, with disallowed goals and a missed penalty in the closing moments - could mean a lot in the final stretch.
Loser: Ajax
Just two points from their last three matches. And a 3-1 defeat away to Groningen allowed Twente to catch them in fourth place. Ajax lack both style and identity, and for the third time this season, they’ll have a new coach on the bench.
Instead of youth coach Fred Grim, Spaniard Oscar Garcia has been appointed. Will he be able to turn things around?
Winner: Lamine Yamal
A left-footed strike, the kind only champions can deliver. The number 10 of Barcelona used all his talent to secure victory for his team at the tough San Mames stadium. A moment of brilliance worth watching again and again, and a crucial win in the race for the LaLiga title.
Loser: Koln
During the match between Koln and Borussia Dortmund, the home team’s announcer Michael Trippel openly criticised referee Daniel Siebert’s decisions over the stadium loudspeakers.
“Shameful, disgusting,” the 71-year-old said loudly when the referee sent off local defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey after a VAR review. Koln's sporting director Thomas Kessler announced he would discuss the situation with the announcer. A double defeat for Kwasniok’s team.
Winner: Lens
It’s March and the Ligue 1 title race is still wide open. That’s unusual compared to recent years, when Paris Saint Germain have always dominated.
Yet, after PSG’s home slip-up against Monaco on Friday night, Lens seized the opportunity and showed their true character. Led by an in-form Florian Thauvin, the Sang et Or crushed Metz at home and are now just one point behind PSG.

Loser: Sunderland
The magic of the FA Cup was on full display at Vale Park, where Port Vale, struggling in League One, claimed a historic win over Sunderland.
Despite being bottom of the third tier, the home side defeated their visitors, who currently sit mid-table in the Premier League. A triumph that will go down in history, given the 57 places separating the two teams.
