England squandered a 2-1 half-time lead at home to Spain on Saturday night and will face the other League A Group 2 losers from matchday one, Czech Republic, at Prague's Fortuna Arena on Tuesday evening.
Tuchel's players were guilty of significant individual errors throughout the match, highlighted by Harry Kane's missed penalty and a cheap error from left back Nico O'Reilly that directly led to Alex Baena's second-half equaliser.
The lack of individual defensive focus in particular was widely slammed by the English press, though it was England's work on the ball that was a major concern for Tuchel.
"We suffered clearly from individual mistakes when we had the ball, particularly in the build-up from deep," Tuchel explained.
"Strangely, when we had the ball, we were the biggest danger to ourselves because we made too many individual mistakes.
"That is something we cannot repeat, especially at this level. We have to be clincical at a technical level, especially under pressure."
Despite the proliferation of errors against Spain, the 53-year-old says he "has no reason to be concerned" and is confident that erasing the individual mistakes is all that will be required to secure England's first League A win since defeating Iceland in November 2020.
"I felt that in terms of organised defending, we did not spend too much time in a low block.
"Our middle block and pushing out into a high press was better than many other matchups at this level.
"Purely on a defensive level, if you want to look at the structure and a unit in an isolated manner, I was quite happy and think it was a step ahead."
England are expected to make at least four changes to their starting lineup, given the quick turnaround.
The likes of Lewis Hall, Jarrad Branthwaite, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alex Scott are all in the mix for a start after being unused substitutes against Spain, whilst Tuchel backed James Trafford to "build on the experience" of the Spain defeat to develop his international career.
