Ahead of Monday’s 2026 World Cup last-16 clash with co-hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium, Rashford has been asked about his future as reports claim that he could stay with Manchester United.
After scoring 14 goals and registering 14 assists in 49 appearances to help Barcelona retain the La Liga title whilst on loan, Rashford has been forced to stay with the Red Devils as the Spanish giants opted instead to sign Anthony Gordon.
Rashford is set to re-join the United squad following the World Cup as things stand, with reports stating that manager Michael Carrick is open to allowing him back into the side.

Speaking ahead of the Mexico game, Rashford revealed that he will make no moves on his future until the Three Lions have given everything they possibly can at the World Cup this summer.
“I was very clear…. I wanted any move done before the World Cup.
“If it’s not, I wanted it to wait until after. I want to be fully present in the moment”.
“We’re fighting for something special.”
Rashford still has two years remaining on his reported £325,000 per week deal and supporters would be reportedly open to seeing him reintegrated back into the United side as they reenter the Champions League and fight for the title next season.
