05:52 BST - HALF-TIME! Australia - despite having less than a third of the possession - lead Turkey at the break following Irankunda's strike.
05:27 BST - GOAL! What were we saying? Nestory Irankunda races through to put Australia 1-0 up against Turkey with a ruthless finish into the bottom corner!

04:15 BST - There's one final World Cup fixture to round off the day three action as Australia take on Turkey.
Have a look at the teams below:

04:13 BST - An incredible evening comes to a close for Scotland, with Steve Clarke's side top of their World Cup group. It's already a very late (or early?) one, so we'll have all the key reaction from the match - as well as Brazil's draw with Morocco - later this morning following Australia v Turkey! Check back in with us later for that.
04:04 BST - FULL-TIME! Scotland win at the World Cup for the first time in 36 years! McGinn's goal is the difference-maker against Haiti as it finishes 1-0, with the Tartan Army heading top of Group C!

03:50 BST - So close to an equaliser for Haiti! Frantzdy Pierrot heads wide after a superb cross and Scotland survive. That was the chance they had been waiting for!
03:44 BST - Just 10 minutes remain here and it's all Haiti - if Scotland hang on, they will go top of Group C.
03:43 BST - There have been a few subs for both sides. Scotland have introduced Lyndon Dykes, Nathan Patterson and Ryan Christie in place of Gannon-Doak, Hickey and Che Adams.
Haiti take off Wilson Isidor to bring on Lenny Joseph.
03:30 BST - Scotland look to take the pace out of the game by taking their time over a throw-in, but take too long and the referee awards Haiti the throw instead. An interesting new rule for the 2026 World Cup! Time for another drinks break.
03:25 BST - It's much of the same in the second half, with Scotland seeing more of the ball but Haiti threatening from out wide - they just need to start getting their deliveries a little more accurate. Angus Gunn is yet to be really threatened in the Scotland goal.
03:10 BST - We're back underway for the second half and it's an immediate booking for Aaron Hickey, who brings down Haiti winger Ruben Providence.
02:52 BST - HALF-TIME! Scotland go into the break 1-0 up after a solid first-half display. McGinn's goal is the difference so far, but Haiti have been threatening on the counter with some nice direct play. All to play for in the second period!

02:31 BST - GOAL! John McGinn scores Scotland's first World Cup goal in nearly 30 years! It isn't pretty, taking a huge deflection - but he won't care!
02:26 BST - There's our first drinks break of the evening. Scotland have had the better chances so far but things perhaps aren't going as expected. Haiti are direct and get the ball into the forwards and wide players quickly, but their deliveries are yet to find their mark in the penalty area.
02:20 BST - Scott McTominay rattles the post after some outstanding work out wide from Ben Gannon-Doak - a warning sign for Haiti!

02:15 BST - 10 minutes played between Scotland and Haiti, with the former dominating the ball as expected. Les Granediers have looked threatening on the counter, though, which Steve Clarke's men must be cautious of.
02:03 BST - Here we go! Scotland get their first World Cup game since 1998 underway.
01:48 BST - Kick-off is a little over 10 minutes away for Scotland's World Cup opener with Haiti - stick with us for all the key updates if you've stayed up this far!
01:12 BST - It's a point apiece for Brazil and Morocco in New York as we turn attention to Boston and to the second match in Group C with Scotland - back at the World Cup for the first time since 1998 - against Haiti. Kick-off is at 9pm local time, 2am (UK).
France 98 was so long ago that three of Scotland's players weren't even born when that tournament took place (Lewis Ferguson (born 1999), Aaron Hickey (born 2002), and Ben Doak (born 2005).
Ferguson starts tonight, and you can see how the rest of the teams line up below:

01:06 BST - FULL-TIME! There goes the final whistle as Brazil and Morocco ends all-square after fantastic goals from Vinicius Jr and Ismael Saibari.
You can read Sunil Midda's match report here: Vinicius Jr rescues point for Brazil against outstanding Morocco.

00:45 BST - Bounou gets back on his feet and both teams make changes.
Anass Salah-Eddine and Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab are replaced by Bilal El Khannouss and Noussair Mazraoui for Morocco, with Danilo Santos coming on for Bruno Guimaraes.
00:43 BST - Raphina takes a shot at goal but it was straight at Yassine Bounou, who goes down injured.
00:27 BST - Brazil make a couple of changes, with Matheus Cunha coming on for Igor Thiago and Luiz Henrique replacing Lucas Paqueta.
Moments later Morocco make their substitutions: Samir El Mourabet and Chemsdine Talbi enter the pitch for Azzedine Ounahi and Brahim Diaz.
Talbi is one of 12 Sunderland players to compete at this World Cup. By comparison, Real Madrid have ten players selected.
00:25 BST - Brazil have had 68% possession over the opening 15 minutes of the second half.
00:20 BST - Morocco have avoided defeat in their last seven matches when scoring first in the World Cup, since a 1-2 loss to Germany on 3rd June 1970.
00:10 BST - The second half is underway.
00:10 BST - Brazil make two changes: Danilo and Fabinho replace Roger Ibanez and Casemiro.
23:54 BST - HALF-TIME! What a first half that was. Brazil come from behind to go in level at the break.

23:36 BST - GOAL! Pick that one out! Brazil equalise in a flash. Vinicius Junior collects a pass from Bruno Guimaraes and dribbles into the box before lashing a shot towards goal that Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou can do nothing about. Superb.
23:30 BST - Brazil have failed to win any of their last four matches when conceding first in the World Cup, since a victory over Croatia on 12th June 2014.
23:25 BST - GOAL! Brazil have started to get a foothold in the game but Morocco break and take the lead!
Brahim Diaz plays a lovely ball through to Ismael Saibari who charges through on goal and chips over Alisson Becker. Fantastic goal!
23:16 BST - Morocco fans are oley-ing after just 11 minutes as their team keep control of the ball.
23:11 BST - Morocco have started brightly and Brazil can't get out of their half. Gabriel blocks a shot from Neil El Aynaoui as Achraf Hakimi lashes a shot wide. Close.
23:05 BST - Peep! Referee Slavko Vinčić gets us underway.
22:54 BST - Brazil are competing in their 23rd World Cup, while Morocco are the current African champions and were 2022 World Cup semi-finalists. We could be set for a classic.
The players are walking out of the tunnel. Kick-off is minutes away.
22:32 BST - With Haiti and Scotland completing Group C, this match could very well decide who finishes top.
This is significant as the winners will face the runners-up of Group F in Houston, while whoever loses tonight could face Group F winners in Monterrey, Mexico.
Group F consists of Japan, Netherlands, Sweden and Tunisia.
22:15 BST - Here's the team news for the Group C clash at the New York/New Jersey Stadium. Kick-off is at 23:00 BST.

22:01 BST - GOAL! My goodness. Out of nowhere Qatar have equalised! This could be their first point at a World Cup finals.

The players walk off for a rehydration break.
21:15 BST - There are vast swathes of empty seats behind the Qatari goal. Perhaps the fans are taking shelter from the searing heat in the concourses..
21:12 BST - We're back underway for the second half.
21:00 BST - Plenty of chatter at the break on the penalty decision and the lack of a VAR replay. "I can't understand it", says Ian Wright.
20:56 BST - HALF-TIME! Switzerland are ahead at the break after dominating for most of the first half.

20:22 BST - GOAL! Switzerland take the lead as Breel Embolo sends the keeper the wrong way.
20:18 BST - PENALTY! Switzerland have a golden chance to open the scoring. Breel Embolo heads the ball to Remo Freuler who is clattered by Qatar goalkeeper Mahmoud Abunada and the ref points to the spot.
Freuler appears to be offside in the build-up, but the penalty is awarded? FIFA are the host broadcaster and are not showing the offside lines.
We are told the decision is correct and Switzerland can take the lead here. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of this...
20:05 BST - Five minutes behind schedule but we're finally underway. Off we go!

Despite being one of the feel-good stories of international football lately, former manager Vahid Halilhodzic didn't have much praise for the Atlas Lions.
"Since I left Morocco, I haven’t watched a single second of their matches. Not a single second, because what I experienced there was a real nightmare," he told Flashscore.
"I had prepared everything with great care and invested a lot of energy in that project. Being dismissed without a valid reason is something you don’t forget. I devoted so much time and effort to that team that the wound is still there today."

"I think this scepticism has eased a bit since the arrival of (Carlo) Ancelotti, who is a very high-profile coach and brings a huge sense of credibility."
