16:57 BST - England manager Thomas Tuchel is expecting a tight game, with no clear favourite. The German admitted that any team can be beaten, including Argentina and the Three Lions.

"We've prepared for the best version of Argentina. We hope, expect and demand the best from ourselves tomorrow for a top-level match.

"I think every team in the world can be beaten. Argentina can, and so can we. And both teams will try to prove it," he pointed out.

16:52 BST - Argentina star Rodrigo de Paul spoke to the media ahead of tonight's match, insisting they have treated every fixture as if it were a final.

"Everyone loves playing in a World Cup. Every match is a final; that's always how we've approached it," he said.

"We're facing a team we've never played before, a powerhouse that has done very well in this World Cup, just like the other four teams still here. It's going to be a great match."
