15:03 BST - Desperately sad news to bring you from earlier today, as South African football is in mourning following the death of midfielder Jayden Adams, 25, just days after helping Bafana Bafana reach the knockouts.

"This passing has ripped everybody apart, returning from the World Cup and then to get such news," Brendine Johnson, a mentor of Adams, told Soccer Laduma.

"I had a close conversation with him on Thursday. The guy was really positive (about) being able to return after the World Cup, knowing what lies ahead. He was prepared."

The thoughts of everyone at Flashscore are with his friends and family.
