The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs continue to put on a spectacle as the Toronto Maple Leafs take a 2-0 lead over the Ottawa Senators after an overtime win while the Hurricanes go up 2-0 on the New Jersey Devils.

Morgan Reilly and John Tavares scored their second goals of the playoffs to give the Leafs a 2-0 lead in the first period.

It was the first lead the Maple Leafs have had in a playoff game in 23 years.

But after blowing said 2-0 lead, the Leafs luckily managed to find their way to a 3-2 win over the Senators thanks to Max Domi's game-winner, which was his first of the playoffs.

Toronto managed to pull out the win despite being outshot 28 to 21 and outhit 44 to 21. But their 32 blocked shots to Ottawa's six proved to be beneficial in a game that looked like it would be the Senators' for the taking.

The series now heads to Ottawa for Game 3 (April 24th) and Game 4 (April 26th).

Hurricanes 3-1 Devils

The Canes continue to roll as goaltender Frederik Andersen was a brick wall in net with 25 saves.

Despite Jasper Bratt getting New Jersey on the scoreboard first, Shayne Gostisbehere and Jordan Martinook responded with their first goals of the playoffs to give the Canes a 2-0 series lead.

Both teams went 0 for 3 on the power play while each also had 15 giveaways. The Devils even outhit the Canes 51-31, but Martinhook's short-handed goal was a dagger to the Devils.

The series now heads to New Jersey for Game 3 (April 25th) and Game 4 (April 27th).
