19:00 BST - That'll do it for tonight. Thank you for joining us!
18:54 BST - "Things like this always go against us," says Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, talking about the Gunners being denied a penalty in the first half against Newcastle.
"Today we got what we deserved, and that's why we are all so happy," he told Sky Sports. "For me, if we have VAR, it is for a clear and obvious error, and the fact that it took the ref that long to decide shows it is not a clear and obvious error."
18:32 BST - FULL-TIME: Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal. When the Gunners were denied a spot-kick before Nick Woltemade put the Magpies ahead, it didn't look like Mikel Arteta's night, but two very late goals - and the hosts with a bit of VAR drama of their own - mean all three points are headed to north London. Our report's here.
