18:52 BST - Haaland has reflected on City's win, claiming it felt like 'Stoke City with Delap 15 years ago'.

"It was a tough game and reminded me a bit of Stoke City with Delap 15 years ago. It was lovely to win and important," he said to Sky Sports.

"They are huge and they do throw ins from the middle so of course it's not easy, but it's about being ready for what's to come.

"For me, this is a proper goal... for me, it's one of my better goals because of the whole thing."

18:49 BST - Manchester City boss Guardiola has become the fourth - and fastest - manager to hit 250 Premier League wins:

18:45 BST - Here's how the Premier League table looks ahead of the second international break of the season:

18:31 BST - Some of the standout stats fro Manchester City's win over Brentford:

Manchester City have attempted 755 passes in this game, the highest total by any team in a single match in the Premier League this season

For the first time in their 159 Premier League games, Brentford failed to record a single touch in the opponent's penalty area in the first half

Brentford took until the 36th minute through Igor Thiago to record their first shot of this match - just the third time across their 80 Premier League home games that they failed to record a shot in the opening 35 minutes, after February 2022 (v Newcastle United) and May 2023 (also v Manchester City)

18:25 BST FULL-TIME! Manchester City hold on to beat Brentford 1-0 after an early strike from Haaland - manager Pep Guardiola's 250th Premier League win.

16:41 BST - GOAL! Less than 10 minutes into the match, Erling Haaland muscles his way through the Brentford defence and fires in his ninth league goal of the season.

16:40 BST - Jack Grealish was delighted after netting the winner - and his first goal for the club - in Everton's victory against Crystal Palace:

"It's brilliant. It's so nice to score here. Do you know what's mad? The last games we've played here we've been drawing and I keep saying to myself in the 85th minute, 'Come on Jack, go and score. Imagine if you scored now,'" he said to Sky Sports.

"I did it against Villa, I did it against West Ham and I didn't score, so today I actually said the same thing again and I scored and I ran to where my mum and dad were, so it was nice.

"That goal goes to all the Evertonians for making me feel so welcome here."

16:36 BST - Brighton needed a late goal from Jan Paul van Hecke to draw with Wolves, with manager Fabian Hurzeler reflecting on the result:

"I think we started quite well, we controlled the game and had chances, but made an easy mistake and conceded out of nowhere. We lost a bit of our rhythm and Wolves had confidence," he told Sky Sports.

"We always tried, never gave up. Overall we are not happy with a point, but we know why we didn't win and have positives to take on. We have to analyse, push on and continue."

16:34 BST - Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has admitted the international break comes at a bad time for his side following their latest win:

"Has the international break come at a bad time? I think so, even more two weeks in a row, like I said, and now I have to stop a little bit," he told Sky Sports.

"But yes, let's, let's see. Let's go. For myself, going to South Korea and Japan, with Brazil. A little bit far away, but have to be ready to go there and play well and come back."

16:21 BST - Here's some key stats from Everton's win over Palace, ending a 19-game unbeaten run:

Everton have won after trailing at half time in the Premier League for the first time since 28th September 2024 against Crystal Palace (six games without a win after trailing at half time)

Crystal Palace have lost five points from winning positions in the Premier League this season, only Brentford (eight) and Fulham (six) have lost more.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have failed to win in their last 11 games in the Premier League, their last longer winless streak was from May 4th, 2024 to November 2nd, 2024, a run of 13 games

16:08 BST - Some key stats from Newcastle's win over Forest:

Nick Woltemade has scored in all three of his home Premier League games so far for Newcastle, becoming just the third player for the club to score in his opening three matches at St James' Park after Les Ferdinand in 1995 and Alan Shearer in 1996

Nottingham Forest have conceded three penalties in the Premier League this season, no team has conceded more

14:39 BST - GOAL! Crystal Palace take the lead away at Everton through Daniel Munoz, who is found in acres of space inside the box and finishes low past Jordan Pickford.

14:25 BST - GOAL! Donyell Malen puts Villa in front against Burnley! The forward races through and pokes an effort into the bottom corner.

14:22 BST - GOAL! Wolves take the lead against Brighton with what could be a huge goal in their season. Goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen gets his hand to an effort from distance, but can only parry onto the crossbar. The ball ricochets off the bar and then his back before rolling in, a likely own goal for the Dutchman.

Also in that match, Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has been sent off and must watch from the stands.

13:58 BST - We're about to get underway in the Premier League! Follow along for all the updates.

13:50 BST - Wolves - still without a win and bottom of the table - have already made 25 changes to their starting XI in the Premier League this season – through the first seven games of a single campaign, only two sides have ever made more (29 for Man Utd in 2001-02 and 26 for Man City in 2012-13).

13:33 BST - Including today, Brighton have handed 22 starts to players aged 21 or younger in the Premier League this season - the joint-most of any side (also 22 for Sunderland).

13:25 BST - Everton boss David Moyes is ending an 185-match run in the Premier League without naming a teenager in his starting XI, with Tyler Dibling starting today.

The last teenager he named was Jeremy Ngakia in June 2020 for West Ham v Wolves.

13:12 BST - Nottingham Forest have made 4 changes from their last Premier League match, their most from one match to another this season, with Ange Postecoglou desperately searching for his first win.

One of those changes is Ryan Yates, who is set to make his 100th Premier League appearance.

Join us again tomorrow for more Premier League action.

19:58 BST - Liverpool boss Arne Slot was not a happy bunny in his post-match press conference.

"I think two very good teams were on the pitch today," Slot told reporters.

"First half, unfortunately for us, the only chance they had in the first half goes into the top corner. We created three open chances - Kerkez, Dom and Alex with the header - but I felt the game was equal.

"Second half we started off really well. It wasn't a surprise we equalised. The last 15 minutes it was end-to-end. We had chances, they had chances to win. In the end, we conceded a last-minute goal.

"Last season we lost against Chelsea as well. Stamford Bridge is always difficult. We were very close to a result."

19:56 BST - Marc Cucurella said Chelsea fully deserved their win against Liverpool tonight.

"We deserved this moment," he told Sky Sports.

"It's not been an easy week for us, but when you play in the Champions League midweek you have two chances to succeed.

"We built the momentum connection with the fans. We started the  game in the in the right way and we deserved the win - we're very happy to get to the international break with three points."

19:49 BST - Another loss for Liverpool - their third in as many games in all competitions - means they no longer sit first in the Premier League table.

It's the first time they've lost three on the spin since 2023, under Jurgen Klopp.

A good day for the sides in north London, particularly the red one!

"The players who came on contributed to maintaining the standards. Let's look forward to the international break."

17:34 BST - Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko netted his second goal in as many games this afternoon and has reflected to TNT Sports on adapting to life in the Premier League.
