Over a decade after the disappointing 'Fight of the Century', Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will meet again in Las Vegas in September.

Mayweather is making a comeback. After facing Mike Tyson in what will be a highly lucrative exhibition -- likely on the 25th of April in the Democratic Republic of the Congo -- the 49-year-old 'Money' will headline another bout, this time a fully professional one.

According to Ring Magazine, a rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao has been scheduled for the 19th of September at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

Back in 2015, after years of avoiding each other, the two rivals finally squared off. Mayweather won by unanimous decision in a fight that was widely considered uneventful.

'Pacman', now 47, returned to the ring last year against Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title, which was taken last weekend by Ryan Garcia. Pacquiao fought to a draw. For now, it’s unclear whether a title will be at stake in the rematch.

Early estimates suggest that the revenue from this rematch could reach $2.3 million (£1.7m).
