England won the right to host the coveted tournament six years ago and plenty has changed since then, not to mention the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

Quite rightly the women's and wheelchair competitions will be showcased next month, in tandem with the men's game.

For many across the UK, there will be a vested interest in how England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland perform throughout the Rugby League World Cup.

As stated, the tournament gets underway when England host Samoa tomorrow at St James' Park in Newcastle - but when do all the other aforementioned teams play?

The group stage will wrap up on Halloween, with Wales v. Papua New Guinea, then we will know the makeup of the knockout stage.

November 4th will be the first quarter-final and the final itself will be held at Old Trafford in Manchester on November 19th.

The women's World Cup will kick-off a little later, on November 1st, when England Women take on Brazil Women. A breakdown of the fixtures follows.

The wheelchair teams start a little later again, with Ireland Wheelchair beginning the tournament against Spain Wheelchair on November 3rd.
