Alexander Zverev is up shortly against Valentin Royer, while Britain's Katie Swan is out after a straight-sets defeat to Madison Keys.
14:30 BST - Swiatek currently leads her match with Pliskova after the opening set, while Marta Kostyuk's clash with Anna Blinkova has just gotten started.
