Wimbledon recap: Ukraine has Grand Slam champion as Kichenok wins doubles

Ons Jabeur has beaten Aryna Sabalenka in the women's singles at Wimbledon to set up a final with Marketa Vondrousova, who defeated Elina Svitolina in the earlier match. Elsewhere, Mate Pavic and Lyudmyla Kichenok won the mixed doubles final with a thrilling three-set victory over Joran Vliegen and Yifan Xu. You can recap all the action from SW19 right here.

20:30 BST - That's it from Wimbledon today, thanks for joining us! Attention now turns to the men's blockbuster semi-finals with Jannik Sinner up against Novak Djokovic, and Carlos Alcaraz against Daniil Medvedev on Centre Court, with the women's doubles semi-finals on Court 1.

20:20 BST - Huge applause on Centre Court as Kichenok dedicates a few moments of her speech to those currently suffering in Ukraine.

"I tried to encourage the people in Ukraine with my performance. I hope it’s gonna help them a little bit.. they’re fighting for their freedom," she said to a standing ovation.

20:16 BST - Mate Pavic and Lyudmyla Kichenok have beaten Joran Vliegen and Yifan Xu to win the mixed doubles final at Wimbledon 6-4, 6-7 (9-11), 6-3. Pavic wins his sixth major title and it's a first for Kichenok, who secures the title with the final shot of the match.

20:11 BST - Pavic and Kichenok have finally broken! it's 5-3 in the third set. Pavic will be serving for the title.

19:48 BST - It's neck-and-neck with both pairs holding serve. 2-2 in the decider.

19:38 BST - This is an incredible final! Vliegen and Xu won second set 11-9 on a nervy tie-break after battling through four set points to keep the game alive.

We're going into a one-set shootout for the championship title.

18:43 BST - Pavic and Kichenok have taken the first set in the mixed doubles final, winning 6-4.

18:10 BST - Tearful Ukraine star Elina Svitolina said sometimes the pressure "gets maybe too much" after she lost her Wimbledon semi-final on Thursday.

"It's a lot of responsibility, a lot of tension."

"I try to balance it as much as I can," she added. "But, yeah, sometimes it gets maybe too much.

"But I don't want to take it as an excuse that I lost today."

17:40 BST - Ons Jabeur is through to the final of Wimbledon! She beat Aryna Sabalenka 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-3 and will face Marketa Vondrousova on Saturday.

16:57 BST - Jabeur has hit back straight away, winning the second set 6-4 meaning there's everything to play for in the tird and final set.

16:40 BST - It took a tie-break but Sabalenka claimed the first set against Jabeur, winning 7-6 (7-5).

"I have to go for it. I don't have time to lose anymore. I don't know how many years I will be playing more - you practice for these big moments."
