The Three Lions will look to top Group L with a victory over Panama, while Ghana and Croatia will also cement their place in the knockouts with a win.
England started their World Cup campaign with an impressive 4-2 win over Croatia before a less than inspiring goalless draw against Ghana.
But who could England face in the first round of the knockouts?
England's Round of 32 opponents
England will finish top of their group if they match or better Ghana's result on Saturday without losing. They will then face one of the best third-placed teams.
If DR Congo beat Uzbekistan in Group K (kick off at 00:30 BST on Sunday), England will play the third-placed team in that group. Currently that is DR Congo.
If DR Congo draw or lose, the Three Lions will play Senegal, unless Croatia lose to Ghana, and Group L does not provide one of the top eight third-placed teams, and the third-placed team from Group J qualifies.
Group J currently consists of Argentina, Austria, Algeria and Jordan. The team that finishes third will be either Austria or Algeria, who play each other in their final game at 03:00 BST on Sunday.
If the game is a draw, England will play Algeria. England could still play Austria if they lose by one goal.
What if England do not top their group?
If England finish second in their group, they will play the team who finishes second in Group K, which is currently Portugal.
If England finish third in their group, they will play the winners of Group K, which is currently Colombia.
World Cup 2026
