20:06 BST - Jannik Sinner had to come from a set down to defend his Wimbledon title, fending off Alexander Zverev in four sets to claim his second consecutive crown at the All England Club.

19:57 BST - JANNIK SINNER RETAINS THE WIMBLEDON TITLE! The Italian has beaten Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 in a little under four hours.

15:35 BST - Zverev comes into this afternoon's final barely a month removed from winning the French Open at Roland Garros, something that boosts his confidence this time around.

"Yes, one thing, for sure, once you win a major, you know how to do it and you feel like you can do it again. You have this feeling inside of you," he said.

15:12 BST - Sinner has been open about the difficult challenge that awaits him from Zverev this afternoon, admitting it will be tough to win back-to-back Wimbledon titles.

"He is very, very aggressive at the moment. His confidence is good. He's very relaxed on court at the moment, so this is good," said the top seed of his final opponent.
