21:09 BST - We'll wrap up there. Thank you for joining us!

21:08 BST - Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to TNT Sports"Yes, it is very tough to accept when you are so consistent in the competition all the way to the final and in the end you lose the trophy on penalty kicks, so it is a difficult one."

"I watch it back and it could easily be a penalty. Especially, we see the penalty they gave me this year in the competition. This season, the referee made a decision, and he made a different one with Cristhian Mosquera and that is an important one."

20:51 BST - "It is even bigger because we knew of the difficulties of playing against Arsenal, and for us as a team and a city, it is incredible to win it," PSG manager Luis Enrique told broadcaster Canal Plus amid on-pitch celebrations at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

"I think we have deserved it over the course of the season, even if the final was really close-fought," he added, as PSG became the first team since Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018 to retain the Champions League trophy.

20:44 BST - Back-to-back champions.

20:33 BST - Luis Enrique joins Bob Paisley, Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane in the club of managers to win three European Cups / Champions Leagues.

20:30 BST - Arsenal's possession average (24.7 per cent) was the lowest by a team in a UEFA Champions League final on record (since 2003/04).

20:21 BST - PSG have their hands on the trophy!

20:20 BST - Vitinha attempted 150 passes in this game, the highest total for a Paris Saint-Germain player in the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League.

He got the official player of the match award.

20:10 BST - PSG winger Desire Doue has reflected on back-to-back Champions League triumphs:

"We are so proud, so happy and so grateful. It was a tough game against a really good team, but I think we deserve it," he told TNT Sports.

"I'm so happy, I prayed to win this game and we did it. We have to stay humblem we want more. We are a young team and next season we have to go again."

20:07 BST - Take a look at the decisive moment from Arsenal's Gabriel, who fired his penalty over the bar:

20:02 BST - FULL-TIME! Arsenal gave it their all, but are defeated on penalties after Gabriel blazed his spot kick over the bar. PSG are Champions League winners for the second season running, triumphing on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal and extra time.

19:28 BST - PSG potentially feeling the effects of nearly two hours of football as Marquinhos and Vitinha come off for defensive duo Ilya Zabarnyi and Lucas Beraldo.

19:25 BST - That's half-time in extra time with the only real flash point being that possible penalty not given on Madueke. It remains 1-1!

19:20 BST - Madueke races through and goes down after some clumsy defending from Nuno Mendes, but referee Daniel Siebert waves away huge Arsenal appeals for a penalty. Replays show both players have a hold of each other, but those have definitely been given before!

19:08 BST - There have been a couple of subs at the break, with Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze introduced in place of Lewis-Skelly and Havertz for Arsenal and Goncalo Ramos replacing Dembele for PSG.

19:02 BST - FULL-TIME! It ends 1-1 between Arsenal and PSG, with the match going to extra-time! If it remains level after the next 30 minutes, we'll be heading for a penalty shootout.

18:54 BST - Vitinha lashes his shot inches over the bar in the final minute of regular time - there will be six minutes added on.

18:48 BST - Another double change for Arsenal sees Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli on for Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka.

PSG also use the opportunity to bring Bradley Barcola on for Kvaratskhelia.

18:43 BST - What a chance for Kvaratskhelia! He races through from his own half, but his shot deflects off Lewis-Skelly and onto the post before bouncing out for a corner.

18:40 BST - Just 15 minutes remain of the Champions League final with the game level at 1-1. Can either side find what will surely be the winning goal?

18:32 BST - There's a double change for Arsenal immediately after PSG's equaliser, with Viktor Gyokeres replacing Martin Odegaard and, unsurprisingly, Jurrien Timber coming on for Mosquera - who had been excellent before giving away the penalty.

18:30 BST- GOAL! Dembele steps up and buries the penalty to make it 1-1! Game on in Budapest!

18:27 BST - PENALTY TO PSG! Kvaratskhelia is brought down by Mosquera - who has already been booked, but remains on the pitch. The youngster might feel a little lucky to avoid a second yellow card there.

18:25 BST - An hour has gone at the Puskas Arena and Arsenal still lead PSG thanks to Havertz's opener.

18:15 BST - It's more of the same in the opening minutes of the second period, with PSG dominating the ball but not yet threatening David Raya in the Arsenal goal. To nobody's surprise, the Gunners' defenders have all been excellent.

18:13 BST - The second half is underway with no changes for either side.

18:05 BST - A couple of stats from the first half in Budapest:

Paris Saint-Germain have attempted the last five shots in this game, Arsenal last shot was taken by Kai Havertz in the sixth minute.

Bukayo Saka attempted just 4 passes in the first half.

17:53 BST - There's half-time, with Arsenal leading PSG 1-0 after Havertz's early opener. The Gunners had a corner set up, but the referee deemed Bukayo Saka was taking too long to deliver the ball and blew for the break.

17:47 BST - There will be six minutes of added time for the first half in Budapest.

17:37 BST - It has been all PSG since the Arsenal goal, but the Parisiens have offered little in the penalty area as we hit the 35-minute mark.

17:20 BST - Paris Saint-Germain have had 80% possession over the opening 15 minutes of this game - yet they trail 1-0 after Havertz's early strike.

17:09 BST - Havertz has featured in two Champions League finals in his career and has now scored in both of them. It was the decisive goal for Chelsea in their triumph in 2021, Arsenal fans will be hoping for a similar result this time around.

17:08 BST - GOAL! What a start for Arsenal! Havertz was given the nod up front and has delivered inside just seven minutes in the Champions League final! The Gunners lead PSG 1-0.

The Frenchman believed that Arsenal winning a first major European trophy would transform the club, particularly beating a side as strong as PSG in the final.

"Winning the Champions League after winning the Premier League would transform Arsenal as a club, partly because they haven't won it before and partly because they are playing against a team that everyone sees as the best team in Europe by a long way."
