It's a fittingly special occasion for the hosts too, with Manchester United welcoming Champions League football back to Old Trafford for the first time in a couple of years, and doing so amid renewed optimism under Michael Carrick.

United's recent home matches have been anything but stingy at either end as their last seven at Old Trafford have all produced goals for both sides and gone over 2.5 in total, and they've racked up 20 goals across six successive home European wins.
