22:40 BST - That's a wrap from us tonight, thanks for joining us!

22:32 BST - The draw for the fourth round of the EFL Cup has been made. You can read more on this story here.

EFL Cup Fourth round

Fleetwood v Arsenal

Man City or Norwich v Brighton

Everton v Newcastle

Sunderland v Brentford

Liverpool v Chelsea

Bradford v Peterborough

Fulham v Crystal Palace

Bournemouth v Aston Villa

The fixtures will be played week commencing 26 October.

22:21 BST - Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris said their fans deserved their win over AZ Alkmaar.

22:19 BST - Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross has given his reaction to their win over Man Utd.

When asked about conceding early on, he told Sky Sports: "It was frustrating because it's not the first time this season, it's the third time this season where we started slow. We have to improve that because we always have to climb a mountain but today we did that.

"We played here before last season a similar match that we won and that gives you belief in a stadium where you won before. The experience we try to give it to the lads. It was a really good performance and I have to say (Jason) Steeley's save at the end was unbelievable."

22:09 BST - There is one final round three EFL clash as Man City take on Norwich tomorrow. You can follow that match on Flashscore.

The draw for the fourth round will take place in around 20 minutes.

21:58 BST - Stay with us, reaction to come!

Coventry 1-3 Aston Villa

Man Utd 2-3 Brighton

Europa League

Sunderland 1-0 AZ Alkmaar

21:39 BST - FULL-TIME! Everton 1-0 Wolves

21:38 BST - Man Utd should be level as Marcus Rashford charges through on goal, but his tame shot is saved.

21:36 BST - FULL-TIME! Fleetwood 1-0 Sheff Utd: History for Fleetwood who reach the fourth round of the EFL Cup for the first time!

21:29 BST - GOAL! Man Utd 2-3 Brighton: Brighton come from 2-0 down to lead at Old Trafford! Charalampos Kostoulas pulls the ball back for substitute Maxim de Cuyper to lash home. Dreamland for the away supporters, horror show for United.

21:25 BST - GOAL! Everton 1-0 Wolves: Carlos Alcaraz curls a shot into the far corner as David Moyes' side take a giant step towards the fourth round.

Villa have scored three goals in a League Cup game for the first time since 23rd August 2022 against Bolton (W4-1).

20:24 BST - So close for Sunderland to open the scoring but Enzo Le Fee's first-time shot clatters off the post.
