Aside from the clash at Spotify Camp Nou, this round of fixtures brings an enticing trip for Celta to Atlético Madrid, a potentially dramatic showdown in Andalusia between Sevilla and Espanyol, Villarreal visiting a Mallorca side desperate to edge closer to safety, and an attractive match between Real Sociedad and Betis. Here are our predictions for another thrilling weekend in the top flight.

Levante v Osasuna: Friday, 20:00 BST

Levante - Osasuna
Levante - OsasunaFlashscore

Levante are fighting for their lives in what is one of their last chances to keep their survival hopes alive. Los Granotas have shown significant improvement in the final stretch of the season and are the seventh-best team over the last ten matchdays (W4, D3, L3), but even this resurgence may not be enough. They'll try to keep their hopes alive here against an Osasuna side still chasing Europe, but who are the fourth-worst away team in the league (W2, D4, L11). Levante are the second-worst home side (W5, D5, L7), but haven't lost any of their last five at home (W4, D1). Given all this, we expect them to pick up at least a point, as they've managed in three of Osasuna's last four visits.

Tip: Levante win or draw – 4/9 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Osasuna do not win.

Elche v Alavés: Saturday, 13:00 BST

Elche - Alavés
Elche - AlavésFlashscore

Alicante will host one of the weekend's most dramatic relegation battles, with just two points separating the sides. Elche are favourites here, as they are among the league's top six home teams before this round (W8, D7, L2), while Alavés are one of the worst travellers (W3, D3, L11).

Elche have scored between one and three goals in nine of their last ten competitive matches, while Alavés have conceded that range in 15 of their last 16 official games.

Tip: Elche win or draw and score between one and three goals – 3/10 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Alavés do not win and Elche score, but no more than three goals.

Sevilla v Espanyol: Saturday, 15:15 BST

Sevilla - Espanyol
Sevilla - EspanyolFlashscore

Two sides in dire straits meet in another clash between teams in deep trouble. Sevilla picked up an emotional win over Real Sociedad on Monday, lifting them out of the relegation zone and providing a huge morale boost. They could leapfrog Espanyol in the table if they repeat that performance in a packed home stadium. Sevilla have won their last two at home, while Espanyol have lost their last two away, part of a dreadful run of 17 games without a win, making them one of the continent's worst sides in 2026. Given their momentum and home advantage, we're backing a hard-fought home win.

Tip: Sevilla win – 21/20 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Sevilla win.

Atlético Madrid v Celta: Saturday, 17:30 BST

Atlético Madrid - Celta
Atlético Madrid - CeltaFlashscore

Atlético Madrid return to league action after their Champions League semi-final defeat to Arsenal, hosting Celta in one of the weekend's standout fixtures. These are two of the league's top seven scorers. Atlético are also the fourth highest-scoring home side, while Celta, interestingly, are joint fourth for goals scored away. The Galicians need points to secure sixth place and a return to European football. Nine of Atlético's last 11 competitive matches have seen both teams score, as have nine of their last ten at the Metropolitano. Nine of Celta's last 13 games in all competitions have also seen goals at both ends, and the last two meetings between these sides ended 1-1.

Tip: Both teams to score – 4/7 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if both teams score at least one goal.

Real Sociedad v Real Betis: Saturday, 20:00 BST

Real Sociedad - Real Betis
Real Sociedad - Real BetisFlashscore

Another of the weekend's big games takes place at Anoeta. Betis seem to have found some form, though they're yet to string wins together, and visit a Copa del Rey-winning Real Sociedad side coming off a defeat to Sevilla. The hosts are already assured of European football but need to climb the table for better prize money, and their performance last Monday left much to be desired. It's a tough one to call between two attacking sides, but only one of their last ten meetings has seen both teams score. It's certainly a match to enjoy, but we don't recommend betting on it.

Tip: No bet

Mallorca v Villarreal: Sunday, 13:00 BST

Mallorca - Villarreal
Mallorca - VillarrealFlashscore

Mallorca appear to be on the up and are looking to finally pull clear of the relegation zone. Villarreal, meanwhile, seem to have secured third place, have officially announced Marcelino will leave at the end of the season, and have struggled away from home, winning just two of their last ten competitive away games (D3, L5). Demichelis' side have been more reliable at home recently, going four unbeaten at home (W3, D1). While Villarreal have won their last two visits to Mallorca, those are their only victories in their last eight trips to the island.

Tip: Mallorca win or draw – 4/11 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Villarreal do not win.

Athletic v Valencia: Sunday, 13:00 BST

Athletic - Valencia
Athletic - ValenciaFlashscore

It's been an emotional week in Bilbao, with the announcement that Edin Terzic will take over as manager of the Lions next season. The Basques are still chasing a European spot and need a win against a Valencia side desperate to escape the drop. Valencia's surprisingly poor display at home last week against a rotated Atlético side contrasted with Athletic's comeback win in Vitoria against Alavés under Valverde. Athletic have won four of their last six home league games (L2), with the exceptions coming against two of the top three (Barca and Villarreal), while Valencia, one of the league's worst away sides, have won just one of their last five on the road (D1, L3). Athletic have won three of the last four meetings and two of the last three in Bilbao.

Tip: Athletic win – 7/10 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Athletic win.

Barcelona v  Real Madrid: Sunday, 20:00 BST

Barça - Madrid
Barça - MadridFlashscore

The big clásico returns at last to Spotify Camp Nou, with the home side potentially able to clinch the league title mathematically. These are the two highest-scoring teams in the league and are among the top five for games with over 2.5 goals, something that's happened in 14 of Barca's 17 home matches this season. Nine of the last ten meetings between these sides have also seen three or more goals, with both teams scoring.

Tip: Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score – 4/9 @ bet365

Bet Explanation: This bet wins if there are at least three goals in total and both teams score.
