Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has officially won a share of this season's Golden Glove.

Raya has matched a record set by Edwin van der Sar as he managed to concede zero against Fulham over the weekend, helping himself to reach 17 clean sheets this season.

As the Spaniard sat four clean sheets clear of Manchester City’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, and City only having four more games to play, it meant the Arsenal star would earn at least a share of the award.

City drew 3-3 with Everton on Monday night in what was a tough test for the title challengers who handed The Gunners a boost in the title race and Raya a leg up in the Golden Glove chase.

The Arsenal goalkeeper wins his third consecutive Golden Glove, joining Pepe Reina, Joe Hart and Ederson as the only goalkeepers to achieve this feat which is a very rare achievement.

He now sits four clean sheets above Donnarumma and six above Everton’s Jordan Pickford and Crystal Palace’s Dean Henderson

His 17 clean sheets already represent a personal best in a single Premier League campaign, showing how stubborn the Arsenal defence has been under manager Mikel Arteta this season.

Interestingly, he grabbed the award in the 2024/25 season, when he shared the Golden Glove with Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest with just 13 clean sheets, four fewer than this season.
