It's round four of the UEFA Champions League, and the pack is beginning to take shape.
With three rounds of results in the books, five teams boast maximum points. Defending champions PSG top the table, ahead of Aston Villa, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Real Betis.
At the opposite end of the ladder, three clubs have zero points: Slovan Bratislava, Lille, and Porto. With the top eight teams progressing to the finals and those finishing 9th to 24th entering the playoffs, there's still plenty to play for in the coming weeks.
Gameweek four brings followers some mouth-watering fixtures, including Atletico Madrid vs Bayern Munich, Barcelona vs Aston Villa, and Manchester United vs Roma on Tuesday evening. Wednesday's programme includes Fenerbahce vs Liverpool, Porto vs Napoli, and Slavia Prague vs Arsenal.

Atletico Madrid vs Bayern Munich, Tuesday, 20:00 GMT

I kick things off at the Metropolitano Stadium, and a meeting of two big-name teams expected to progress to the knockout stages of the tournament.
Atletico Madrid start the round in 16th, with four points from a possible nine. As it stands, the La Liga giants sit just a point better than Sabah FK and the bottom 12.
Manager Diego Simeone knows his men must make home advantage count to reach the playoffs, but he takes confidence from a two-match unbeaten run at this level.
Bayern Munich travelled to Madrid two places higher in the table than their hosts, with stats of one win and two draws. They're unbeaten so far, scoring 10 goals but conceding five.
Munich opened with a 5-0 win over Bodo/Glimt, but then drew with Viking and Arsenal. The Bundesliga champions shared six goals in their previous away trip.
Pre-match odds at bet365 favour the away win, with Bayern Munich trading at 19/20. I expect that to feature in a fair share of midweek accumulators, but there's another angle worth exploring.
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the first Englishman since Michael Owen in 2001 to win the Ballon d'Or. I expect him to celebrate by scoring against Atletico Madrid.
Londoner Kane has scored in each of his last 10 UCL appearances for Munich. A goal on Tuesday evening would put him level with Cristiano Ronaldo's record of scoring in 11 straight games. I expect Kane to do just that.
Kane got one against Bodo/Glimt, two at Viking, and another when Arsenal were in Germany. Back Harry to score against Atletico Madrid at 5/6 (bet365).
Tip: Harry Kane to score @ 5/6 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You need Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane to score at any time in this match.
Barcelona vs Aston Villa, Tuesday, 20:00 GMT

Aston Villa visit the Camp Nou, with Unai Emery knowing a win could put his team top of the table.
The clubs have met four times, with Barca taking two wins and a draw. Villa did beat Barca in their most recent clash, but that was way back in 1983. We won't read too much into that.
Barcelona start in eighth place, winning their first two before suffering a 4-2 defeat in Paris on matchday three. Fans expect the locals to make a quickfire return to winning ways, and the betting agrees.
You can back the home win at 1/4 with bet365. The away win is 10/1, with a draw at 21/4.
Anyone who has watched Aston Villa in the Premier League or Champions League this season knows it's dangerous to write them off. Could the Villains cause an upset?
It's worth knowing that, as a manager, Emery has faced Barcelona 30 times, collecting only three victories, while losing 21 times. That means Unai's win record against Barca is the lowest of any opponent he's faced five or more times.
There's more bad news for the Spaniard.
Emery's heaviest European defeat came at Barca, a punishing 6-1 result. That makes it easy to oppose a plucky visitor.
With short odds on Barcelona to win, I'll push my luck a little and take the home team -1 goal on the handicap. The same bet landed when Barcelona thumped Feyenoord 5-1 here on matchday two.
Tip: Barcelona -1 handicap @ 13/40 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Barcelona must beat Aston Villa by at least two clear goals for this bet to land.
Feyenoord vs Inter Milan, Tuesday, 20:00 GMT

Feyenoord start outside of the playoff places, with time running out to secure a top-24 finish.
Will former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst lead his team to a famous win over Inter Milan? That's something they've achieved only once in four previous attempts, winning 1-0 back in 2002.
Inter Milan arrive at De Kuip seeking a hat-trick. The Italians met the Dutch club home and away in the 2024/25 UCL campaign, winning 2-0 here, and 2-1 at San Siro.
Milan are playing catch-up after losing their opening two games to Real Madrid and Club Brugge, but did beat Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 last time.
Neither team has started the Champions League as well as expected, with Feyenoord in 26th and Inter Milan in 20th. I'm not expecting an enthralling 90 minutes, but I do have a bet that'll make this match more interesting.
Feyenoord boss van Bronkhorst has managed 15 times in this competition and suffered 13 defeats. The locals have also lost 10 of their last 13 matches in major European competitions. That stat does little to inspire confidence in a home win.
It should be a tight match, but after watching Inter win last time, I'm backing them to add another three points. The 7/10 offered on a Milan win will work best in your midweek accumulators or Feyenoord vs Inter Milan Bet Builders.
Tip: Inter Milan win @ 7/10 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Inter Milan beat Feyenoord on Tuesday, you'll beat the bookies.
Villarreal vs PSG, Tuesday, 20:00 GMT

Villarreal and PSG meet for the first time in history, but which team will mark the occasion with a win?
I'm picking the reigning European champions, and the stats make that a strong bet.
PSG arrive unbeaten in 13 Champions League games, winning nine and drawing four. If they can take at least a point on Tuesday, they'll equal the longest unbeaten run by a French club in this tournament. Lyon managed 14 games unbeaten between 2004 and 2006.
PSG aim for a third Champions League trophy in three terms, after denying Milan and Arsenal in the last two years. They're top of the table, boast a 100 per cent record, and their 14 goals make them the competition's highest scorers at this stage.
PSG beat Barcelona 4-2 in Paris, and Man City by the same scoreline at the Etihad Stadium. The kings of Europe also did as expected when hammering Bratislava 6-1.
I'm happy to keep this one simple and back an away win. For their stake, followers get the current European champions, a team top of the league, and one enjoying a lengthy unbeaten run at this level.
Bet explanation: If PSG win in Spain and take all three points back to Paris, you'll beat the bookies and make a handy profit. It's best suited to accumulators.
AEK Athens vs Real Madrid, Wednesday, 17:45 GMT

Real Madrid's superstars arrive in Athens, and fireworks are guaranteed.
Visiting manager Jose Mourinho boasts an eye-catching 69 per cent win rate in charge of Madrid in this tournament. He's also led his men to victory in all three of their UCL games this season, and done it in style.
Blancos opened with a 2-1 home win over Inter Milan in September, then beat Roma 4-3 on the road and RB Leipzig 4-1 in Madrid.
AEK Athens may be the home team, but they start as betting underdogs. That won't surprise football fans who watched them suffer back-to-back losses in October.
The Greeks lost 5-1 to Man City and 3-1 to Shakhtar Donetsk. With Shakhtar on just one win, losing to the Ukrainians isn't a good look for AEK.
I'm picking Madrid to win this match, and expect their star players to put on a show.
French striker Kylian Mbappe has scored in each of his last five Champions League games, and I'm betting on number six. Mbappe famously recorded a six-game UCL scoring streak for PSG, and he'll equal that in Athens.
Tip: Mbappe to score @ 4/9 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You need Kylian Mbappe to score at any time against AEK Athens on Wednesday.
Fenerbahce vs Liverpool, Wednesday, 17:45 GMT

Liverpool thrashed Galatasaray 4-0 earlier this year. Fans would love a repeat performance as the Reds face Fenerbahce for the first time.
Liverpool touch down in Turkey with three wins from three, scoring a dozen goals and conceding seven.
Fenerbahce are down in 31st, showing no wins, two draws and a defeat. They've scored three goals, but already conceded nine. The Turkish Super Lig runners-up are stuck in their longest-ever winless run at this level, with four draws and six losses from 10.
The Yellow Canaries' -6 goal difference will have the Liverpool attackers licking their lips.
Alexis Mac Allister has scored three Champions League goals so far. He got the winner against Atletico Madrid at Anfield, and added two more when Villarreal were in town. In last season's UCL, the Argentine midfielder scored against Real Madrid and Qarabag.
Traders at bet365 offer 15/8 on Mac Allister to score or assist. That means you'll collect a profit if the Liverpool number 10 adds to his European goal tally or sets up a teammate to score in Turkey.
Tip: Mac Allister to score or assist @ 15/8 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You need Alexis Mac Allister to score or provide an assist on Wednesday. Your bet is live for the entire time he's on the pitch.
Porto vs Napoli, Wednesday, 20:00 GMT

After three defeats in their first three games, Porto are level with bottom club Slovan Bratislava. Stats show two goals scored and six conceded, suggesting things could get worse before they get any better for the locals.
Napoli aren't much better off, but did follow two defeats with a win last time. The Italians finally got off the mark when beating Bodo/Glimt 4-3. Napoli have five goals for and seven against.
Opta Stats show Porto are without a win in their last six European matches against Serie A opponents, a run stretching back to 2022.
You can back the away win at a tempting 23/10, and that's much bigger than I expected to find. Kevin De Bruyne will be key on Wednesday, with the Belgian already creating 10 chances in Europe this season.
An experienced Napoli attack will have enough quality to hurt a nervy Porto defence.
Tip: Napoli win @ 23/10 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If the Italians return to Naples with three points and a second UCL win in a row, you'll boost your betting balance.
Slavia Prague vs Arsenal, Wednesday, 20:00 GMT

The Gunners are in Slavia Prague, and the Champions League stats make the away win a smart bet.
Prague have lost two and drawn one, scoring four and conceding seven. Arsenal are unbeaten, thanks to two wins and a draw. The Premier League champions have already hit six goals and will add a few more in round four.
These teams met here exactly a year ago, with Arsenal easing to a 3-0 victory. That result means Prague have never beaten the Londoners in five attempts.
Betting against Prague is simple when you learn they haven't won a Champions League game in 22, a rotten run that dates back to 2007.
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 18 UCL games, making an away win a smart bet.
Tip: Arsenal win @ 1/3 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Arsenal take a win back to North London, you'll secure a profit from the bookmakers.
