The Brazil international has penned a new deal to 2031, despite links away from the club during the summer transfer window.
Asked about his ambitions with City, Savinho said: “My playing style is very joyful.
“I think today you have to be happy to play football, you have to inspire the fans to come and watch the matches at the stadium and leave satisfied.
“My game is about attacking, going at the opponent. And as I said, I think I have to improve a lot in finishing and score more goals, and I will achieve that.
“I think the style of play helps me a lot too, always with the ball, and City has great players I play alongside here, which has always been my dream.
“I think I’m living my dream now.”
On working with manager Pep Guardiola, Savinho also said: “He doesn’t demand anything from me. I believe he is the best manager in the world. He always wants to help his players and he helps me a lot.
“When he speaks to me it’s not to make demands, but to help me improve in my daily work so that in matches I can execute what he asks of me.
“I’m learning a lot. I listen to him a lot. I have to make the most of this opportunity he’s giving me.”
