"In the first game, you never know. We didn't play many friendlies in pre-season, but many things were good, especially in the first half.
"In the second half, we dropped too much, but maybe that is normal at the beginning of the season."

He told Sky Sports: "We all know what we want and we're all sharp to reach that goal.

"We've had a lot of new signings but there was a lot of quality here, that's the reason we got promoted. I was delighted for the two boys to get their goal as they were so influential last season.
"I felt really confident today, I thought I would get a goal. It was a fantastic ball."
West Ham manager Graham Potter said their performance "wasn't good at all."
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Very disappointing. I thought the first half was good - we controlled the game for large periods in a hostile environment.
"The first goal isn't good enough from our perspective, and then the game becomes difficult for us.
"We've got a big game on Friday in front of our own supporters. We have to react and do a lot better."
After conceding a 97th minute equaliser to Fulham, Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler told BBC Sport: "For sure it feels painful. It's really important to take the positives away. We played well and defended good.

One player they will be looking to is Harvey Barnes. The striker has contributed 10 goals in his last 10 Premier League appearances against Villa (6 goals, 4 assists), his best output in terms of goal involvements against an opponent in the competition.
