GK - Mark Flekken, 9.4 (Brentford)

Despite conceding three goals in a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City, Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken excelled between the sticks and was by far the highest rated of any shot stopper over the weekend.

The Dutchman registered 12 saves and even got an assist, with his goal kick splitting the City defence and finding Neal Maupay who finished well.

DEF - Pascal Gross 9.1 (Brighton)

Cheating slightly here, but Pascal Gross has played just about everywhere for Brighton and this week takes one of our defensive spots.

Gross was at his creative best in the Seagulls' 4-1 win against arch-rivals Crystal Palace, getting himself two assists and making three key passes.

The German also contributed at the other end of the pitch, making four tackles.

DEF - Lewis Dunk, 8.4 (Brighton)

Another Brighton player to make our side - this time an actual defender - Lewis Dunk put in a typically reliable showing against Palace.

The defender opened the scoring early in the game and was solid from that point on, making three interceptions, one tackle and one clearance as he helped his side nullify their opposition's attacking threat.

DEF - Alex Moreno, 8.1 (Aston Villa)

Alex Moreno was one of many players who stood out in Aston Villa's 5-0 thrashing of relegation-threatened Sheffield United.

He impacted the match at both ends of the pitch, scoring Villa's fifth goal just after half-time while also ensuring any rare attacks from the Blades down his side came to nothing.

Moreno made three interceptions, two tackles and one clearance as Villa stormed to a superb victory.

MID - Phil Foden, 9.5 (Manchester City)

Homegrown talent Phil Foden was the star of the show in City's win at Brentford, scoring a hat-trick to ensure his team gained ground in the tightly contested title race.

Foden's goalscoring instinct was on full show as he netted three times, taking his league tally to eight for the season.

His third goal was taken particularly well, bursting through the defence before slotting a calm finish past Flekken.

MID - Ross Barkley, 9.4 (Luton)

The revival of Ross Barkley this season continued with another impressive showing in Luton's 4-4 draw against Newcastle.

A goal and an assist for the former Everton and Chelsea player helped the Hatters score four goals for the second game running.

Barkley had a huge creative influence on the match with five key passes and showed again why he will be crucial to Luton's chances of survival.

MID - Kevin De Bruyne, 8.6 (Manchester City)

Kevin De Bruyne's return from injury has blown the title race wide open and he shone once again in City's win against Brentford.

The Belgian delivered a perfect assist for Foden's second goal and was a constant threat throughout the match with four key passes, three shots and 22 attempted crosses.

His reintroduction to City's side couldn't have gone much better, with four goal contributions in his last three appearances.

MID - Alejandro Garnacho, 8.7 (Manchester United)

Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho stood out in their 3-0 win against West Ham.

The winger scored twice while also making three key passes, dominating throughout a routine victory for Erik ten Hag's side.

Garnacho now has nine goal contributions in all competitions this season - blossoming into a key member of United's team at just 19 years old.

FWD - Matheus Cunha, 10 (Wolves)

Matheus Cunha bagged a hat-trick in Wolves' surprise 4-2 thrashing of Chelsea, becoming just the second Premier League player to pick up a perfect 10 rating this season.

The Brazilian constantly had the better of the Chelsea defence and put on an incredible display, even winning a penalty late in the game which he would go on to convert himself.

Cunha's standout showing also makes him our Player of the Week.

FWD - Carlton Morris, 8.2 (Luton)

Luton's Carlton Morris was another top performer over the weekend, picking up a goal and assist in their draw at Newcastle.

The striker was a nuisance throughout the match, causing lots of problems for the Newcastle defence and often playing a pivotal role whenever the Hatters launched one of their highly effective counter-attacks.

Like Barkley, the number nine will be key to their chances of surviving in the Premier League.

FWD - Ollie Watkins, 9.0 (Aston Villa)

It was another top performance from Villa's Ollie Watkins, who has established himself as one of the best strikers in the division this season.

The Englishman had a hand in three of the five goals scored, netting one himself and providing two assists.

His all-round play is up there with some of the league's top forwards and Watkins now has 11 Premier League goals and 10 assists already this term.
