Bruno Fernandes (Portugal)

Manchester United captain Fernandes enjoyed a solid time away with Portugal, despite plenty of outside noise swamping the national team after Cristiano Ronaldo walked out of the squad.

Fernandes featured in three of Portugal's UEFA Nations League fixtures, managing to play exactly 89 minutes in each match and averaging an 8.1 Flashscore rating.

His standout showing came against Denmark, where he produced two assists in a 4-2 triumph to earn a 9.3 player rating - his in-depth numbers show three big chances created, five key passes and a match-high seven passes into the penalty area.

Fernandes stepped up when his country needed him after a turbulent few days, ensuring they came away from the break with a perfect four wins from four games.

Mikel Merino (Spain)

Merino didn't start a game for Spain, but came on in three matches and contributed with either goals or assists in every single substitute appearance.

The midfielder first provided an assist in the 4-1 thrashing of Croatia, before finding the net himself to seal a 3-1 victory against the Czech Republic.

His most telling contribution came in the second match with Croatia. Merino was introduced at half-time with his country trailing 1-0, and scored twice in the second period to ensure Spain ended the break with a perfect record in the Nations League.

Across three appearances, the midfielder averaged a Flashscore rating of 7.9.

Dan Ndoye (Switzerland)

Nottingham Forest winger Ndoye seems to hit a new level of form when he features for the Swiss national team, and his performances were no different over the latest international break.

The 25-year-old recorded two goals and three assists over all four games during the break, ensuring Switzerland came away with four wins.

His performance against Scotland (a 3-0 win) particularly stood out, with Ndoye providing two assists to reach an 8.9 rating. A Player of the Match showing in a 3-0 win over North Macedonia followed closely behind, with a goal and assist earning the winger an 8.8 Flashscore rating.

Leeds defender Nico Elvedi also impressed for the Swiss, averaging an 8.1 rating over four matches.

Wilson Isidor (Haiti)

Haiti have enjoyed a surge in results and performances over recent years, which has coincided with several players declaring for the national team - one of which is Sunderland striker Isidor.

The 26-year-old picked up the highest Flashscore rating in two fixtures over the break, first grabbing a goal and two assists in Haiti's 3-2 win over Trinidad & Tobago and then netting a brace in their 4-1 victory over the Dominican Republic.

Those matches saw him earn 9.1 and 8.5 Flashscore ratings, although two indifferent showings in the other fixtures saw his overall average for the break drop down to 7.4.

Lewis Hall (England)

Hall came into the England side for the final three Nations League matches and performed admirably in each fixture to earn an average Flashscore rating of 7.9.

Like plenty of other Three Lions stars, his standout showing came in the 7-0 win over Croatia - where he scored a rating of 8.2

Hall made the left-hand side his own with one big chance created, eight duels won and four successful dribbles, as well as three tackles.

On top of the stellar showing against Croatia, Hall also impressed with an assist in the 3-0 win over the Czech Republic.

Alex Iwobi (Nigeria)

Fulham midfielder Iwobi featured in two African Cup of Nations qualifiers, averaging an 8.4 rating across both matches.

The midfielder was at his creative best in the first game, a 2-1 win over Madagascar, earning a 9.0 after making four key passes, providing an assist, creating two big chances and completing 23 passes in the final third.

He was also the standout performer in Nigeria's 3-0 defeat against Guinea-Bissau.

Viktor Gyokeres (Sweden)

Despite struggling for minutes at Arsenal this season, Gyokeres stepped up superbly for Sweden by scoring a goal in each of their four Nations League fixtures.

The 28-year-old started every match and played over 75 minutes in each as the Swedes won three and drew one.

Gyokeres also proved to be the decisive factor in three games - netting the winning goals twice against Romania and the equaliser against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Senne Lammens (Belgium)

Lammens was Belgium's number one goalkeeper for their Nations League fixtures and started the first three games of the international break.

He averaged an 8.0 rating across the matches and made 19 saves in total - conceding only once from the 20 shots he faced, which came in a 1-0 defeat to France.

The shot-stopper managed to hit an 8.4 Flashscore rating in wins against Italy and Turkey, and his absence was sorely felt in the final match of the break, where Belgium were thrashed 4-1 by France.

Other players that stood out

Several England stars enjoyed a productive international break, with Marc Guehi (average rating 7.2), Elliot Anderson (7.5) and Morgan Rogers (7.6) impressing.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard (7.7) came away with four goal contributions for Norway, while France's Rayan Cherki (7.5) also put in a couple of standout showings.

Northern Ireland and Fulham midfielder Shea Charles also produced some top performances and averaged a 7.6 Flashscore rating.

In the AFCON qualifiers, DR Congo striker Yoane Wissa (8.0) stood out, as did Morocco full-back Noussair Mazraoui (8.5) and Ivory Coast midfielder Malick Yalcouye (7.6) - although each only earned two ratings from their appearances.
