Brazil's all-time leading scorer, Neymar, was suffering from a calf injury in the lead-up to the tournament. His inclusion was said to be in doubt, but the 34-year-old is said to be making "good progress" in his recovery.

The duo have been replaced in the squad by Amine El Sebaï and Marwan Saadane, while Noussair Mazraoui remains a doubt after also picking up a knock in that match.
