England are back in 2026 FIFA World Cup action for their second game, with Ghana the opponents in Foxborough.

The Three Lions secured a perfect start to the tournament with a 4-2 win over Croatia in their opening Group L fixture, and the Black Stars are next up.

Victory will put England into the knockouts with a game to spare. The meeting with Carlos Queiroz's team should also be a historical one for three members of Thomas Tuchel's squad.

Veterans Jordan Pickford, John Stones and Harry Kane all started against Croatia and, assuming all three feature again, the latter will captain England at the Gillette Stadium in his 116th international appearance.

That will move the Bayern Munich striker above David Beckham into third on England's all-time appearance list with only Wayne Rooney (120) and Peter Shilton (125) ahead of him.

Kane's brace against Croatia also extended his tally to 81 at the top of England's goalscoring charts. He's now level with Gary Lineker on 10 World Cup goals.

However, the Ghana game should also be a Beckham-themed milestone for Pickford and Stones, who will both make their 14th World Cup appearance should they feature, meaning the duo would move into joint-second for games on the world stage for England, ahead of Beckham.
